"I'd been searching all over the Interwebs for a particular 1/4 statue from XM Studios that wasn't going to cost $10,000 until I came across Specfictionshop.com. I found what I was looking for and the price was about what I had expected - and then I saw the "make an offer" button. So before I made any offer on the statue, I reached out to the Specfictionshop.com team and Todd responded. I explained my whole story and he asked what my offer would be. I told him I wasn't in the business of fleecing people but I sent him a competitive number and asked if he could do any better than that. He ended up taking even more off the price. "Evidently only for Americans. Im European and I bought a statue for 1300 euros.
Upon arrival the statue was both broken and defective... I pointed this out with all the kindness possible, asking for a replacement of the 2 broken and defective pieces, and I have proven all this with photos and videos that they initially even pretended not to be able to see.
Then all I was told was:"glue the broken one", then they disappeared .
If this is a standard of "great US customer support" it must be a real nightmare to buy something in the states.
Believe me, don't buy from them if you don't live in usa."
