"I bought a ticket on the same day as the concert I wanted to attend, but the ticket had already been used when I got to the venue. My guess is that the seller or a StubHub employee used it themselves, probably because the ticket was selling for half the original price. Since StubHub claim they'll try to get you a new ticket if your ticket from them doesn't work, I tried contacting them but to no avail.
To get a refund I had to submit "proof" I wasn't allowed entrence. Contacted the organizer that got back to me a month later with the information required for a refund and sent it to StubHub. Unfortunately for me (but fortunate for StubHub) they "can't" refund tickets more than 30 days after the event.
I would recommend no one EVER buy from this company, especially not if the ticket price is cheaper than it originally was."
"Bought tickets to go see Luke Combs back in July, general admission on the floor. Fast forward to today, October 12, concerts in 3 days. We get an email yesterday saying that they have changed our tickets from being able to be printed off, to now "will call". If we wanted to keep them still, we were to contact them and get back with them by the next day at 5pm. They contacted us again this morning thru text saying the same thing, this time my husband responded to both the email they sent and the text since that was there form of communication, there was no specific way that they said to contact them, no phone number, nothing. If we didnt contact them, they would cancel our tickets. So we responded as we were told. They sent us an email this evening letting us know now that we lost our tickets. Are you kidding me??? We called them within 2 minutes of receiving our email and they said there was nothing that could be done. Whatever happened to buying tickets and being able to print them off the second you buy them?? This seems like quite the racket! Especially to do to someone 3 days before the concert when the price of the tickets we had are over double the price we originally paid. Not happy, in fact, I'm so beyond ****! I will never buy from stub hub again. I believe they over sell on tickets they dont actually have seats for. What a damn scam"
"I tried selling my tickets to the Chainsmokers and when I went to cancel my listing they charged my $23.00 when I had only bought the tickets for $25.00. I tried contacting customer service since I was super unimpressed and needed to resolve the issue and they disconnected me and hung up with me in the middle of the conversation. Needless to say, I will never be using this platform again. If you are ever looking to buy or sell tickets stick with Ticketmaster or Seatgeek (those are my favorites). "
"So, I sold Post Malone tickets because my mom was getting stomach surgery and my tickets sold on StubHub and ticket master the same time. F****** **** because of StubHub customer service is literally the worst. They said I could be responsible for 40% of the sale even though the tickets technically didn't even sell to them yet. "They charge twice what the actual cost of the event is. Will take your money today while refusing to deliver tickets until literally one day before the event. What is the point if purchasing tickets 2 months before the event if I'll just have to spend these 2 months stressing if they are going to actually come through at the very last minute or not. "StubHub has refused to refund my purchase price for an Alabama concert in Detroit that has been postponed TWICE since January 2019 (it is now SEPTEMBER!). When called, the StubHub representative simply repeats company policy of no refunds unless event is cancelled. When I called the venue directly (Fox Theater, Detroit) they informed me that they have refunded ticket prices to customers who purchased directly from them. StubHub refuses to refund unless event is "officially cancelled", tying up my purchase money indefinitely since no new event date has been determined. Very poor customer service and rude treatment of customers. I will NEVER purchase another ticket from StubHub and will only deal with reputable services such as Ticketmaster from now on. I am extremely disappointed with StubHub. They do not care about customers, only keeping the money."
"We purchased tickets that stated they were in a lower section of the venue. When we arrived they were in an upper section and way at the top. Stubhub offered a 10% coupon to be used on future purchases! We way overpaid because we thought we were buying tickets in a lower section as stated in the ticket info. I will never use Stubhub again. "I purchased 49er tickets and was charged over 20% for their service. The worst part was that after putting in credit card info and pushing next, they did not give my order details to look over before agreeing and buying. I thought they had sold me the wrong seats and when I finally got them on the phone (45 min later) they explained that fees change according to how busy and in demand they are for that venue. Total rip off, did apologize for not showing break down of what I purchased. Do not use this service to buy tickets, they are not an honest company!"
"I convinced my mom to go to a concert with me as a thank you and so we could have a fun evening together. We got dressed up, go to the venue and are walking in. I had tried to be patient with the tickets arrival because I had ordered them a few hours before. They didn’t come and he show started, the only option was to chat online with a rep and he told me they would give me a refund but there was nothing else they could do. My mother had to buy tickets that were $100 more than what we originally paid to attend the show.
The next morning the tickets came and my account was charged.
After speaking with a very nice rep they refunded my money for the tickets, like they were doing me a favor, and gave me a coupon.
If you want to attend the event your buying tickets to, USE ANOTHER SITE. The prices are low because you probably won’t get to go.
Embarrassing, horrible night out but thank goodness I have an awesome Mom who loves me anyway "

They resold them but did not deliver them to new buyer ,
False advertising !!! Total cost for me $1040 tickets plus $280 for NO delivery of tickets I never got from them !!!

I talked to customer service and with their guarantee I was not only giving new tickets, but also a upgrade in seating. By far the best and easiest people I have ever talked with in a big corporation. The customer service representative was vary friendly, informative, and respectful of my needs. "On August 9th I purchased two tickets to Come From Away at the Cadillac Theater.for the 2:00 pm performance on August 14th. The tickets were to be "available" by the end of the day on August 13th. On August 14th, I called at 8:00 AM since no tickets. I was told to call back after 9:00 AM since they could not contact the seller until 9:00 AM. I called back after 9:00 AM and was told no tickets and they could not replace the tickets since the performance was sold out. I was given a refund. Do not trust StubHub for tickets. My reaction is on sold-out performances, sellers are making profits by selling to others not StubHub that are greater than the penalty StubHub supposedly applies to them."

After ordering tickets 1.5 months ahead of my event, they shipped the tickets 2 days before the event. No problem shipping the tickets, but apparently an “invalid” address did not allow my tickets to be delivered. Why were they able to be shipped, and why was I not contacted prior to shipment?? Google maps had no problem finding the address, and neither did I when I went to the location!
After calling/live chatting/emailing for multiple hours while on MY VACATION, I was afforded NO HELP. I was told to contact the Royal Mail, who told me to contact the shipper! I provided a NEW address to FlubHub, and still no shipment...
I had to purchase new tickets at DOUBLE the price from a RELIABLE ticket vendor to make it to my dream event.
I am being told that because I entered an “invalid” address, they cannot guarantee delivery and I WILL NOT be getting my money back.
This is unbelievable, I’ve never left a review for an app but this was well worth my time. I will continue calling and emailing until I receive a full refund and explanation as to why the tickets shipped less than 48 hour prior to the event, and I was not contacted immediately upon failed delivery.
DO NOT USE STUBHUB!!"
