"StubHub created a memory that I can not forget. I wasn't planning to go to the concert at until 4 hours before showtime. StubHub made that possible even though the tickets were sold out. Thanks StubHub."
"I have been a StubHub customer for many years. I decided to purchase Barbara Streisand tickets half an hour ago for $139.50 each. As I am CHECKING OUT and PAYING, they raised the price to $200 per ticket. I refreshed the page but the tickets were still priced at $139.50. I called StubHub and was unfortunate enough to receive an extremely rude male employee with a thick eastern European accent who put me on hold for nearly half an hour only to tell me that the ticket seller has the right to raise the ticket prices even if they are mid checkout. Apparently, price gouging is totally legal and acceptable on this site. I sent him a screenshot of the tickets on their site for $139.50. I asked him if it would be OK for him to shop on my site, purchase tickets for one price, and then have me hike them up $100 WHILE he is PAYING for them. He said "No, that would not be OK". Then WHY is it OK for them to do it? How did the conversation end, you ask? HE HUNG UP ON ME AFTER LAUGHING ABOUT IT TO HIS COWORKER ON THE PHONE WITH ME. THAT is StubHub!! BUYER BEWARE, and always surf in incognito mode since STUBHUB is NOT above price gouging and unfair business practices, as well as EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL employees. NEVER shopping with them again!!"
"Last concert I bought tickets for they never showed up. No apology my money was refunded a day before the show. StubHub would not answer any inquiries after that.
Selling? Just sold two 3 days passes and the buyer got the tickets. But they will be going to the event before StubHub pays me for the sale. 5 day wait to get money into PayPal and another 3 days to get it into my bank from there.
"
"I'm at the concert door and all of a sudden I have no tickets. Call the customer service and all they say is "sorry! We ran out of tickets couldn't issue you one! We will refund you!!!"
Disappointing is all I can say!"
"Bought 350$ Brad Paisley tickets through Stub Hub (will called tickets/ put tickets)- I go to will call an hour before event just to be told they never existed... Call customer representatives and got a 10$ reimbursement on a 100+$ purchase. Don’t waste your time or patience.. buy through Ticket master or the venue in which you are attending directly. "
"We booked tickets for an Event in Sevilla, Spain. We were charged over 60 € per person but we received tickets of 15 €. I do understand that stubhub needs to be profitable but to charge four times the price is not fair."
"Stubhub was flawless in delivering Wimbledon tickets I ordered. They set up a cute but professional looking tent near the Wimbledon grounds for ticket collection. I ordered 2 debenture tickets and was ready as promised. Stubhub charged a sizeable fee but its much lower than Viagogo and WELL WORTH it, considering how difficult it is to secure tickets for Wimbledon matches. THANK YOU STUBHUB.

"Ordered tickets to a concert with seats next to our friends. Spent about $450, plus three hotel nights, a rental car, and two airline tickets. A special weekend that is costing us about $2,000. But the seats we were given weren’t the ones we ordered and when we called to get this corrected Stubhub said there was nothing they could do about it. Other than, cancel the order or haggle with the people at the concert. This is unacceptable. "
"You may or may not get the tickets that you paid for, but the only thing for certain is that you will never see your money again. When we ordered tickets for a concert, Stubhub sent us a non functional link to a Ticketmaster website where we were supposed to be able to download tickets. The site was down and after trying all night to download the tickets for the concert scheduled for the next day, we were unable to download any tickets. We called Stubhub several times and they admitted that the site was down (did they know that at the time that they took our money?) regardless, they never delivered the tickets that we paid for...AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE MONEY!! They insisted that all sales are final and that there were no refunds, even when they were at fault. This is not a situation where the tickets were paid for, delivered and then the buyer changed their mind, this was a situation where Stubhub never even delivered what was paid for and kept our money anyway! Advertising goods or services, taking payment and then never delivering the promised goods or services is fraud.
An in store credit is not the same as a refund. With all the restrictions and expirations and the unlikelihood that we would ever find a way to use it, it is virtually worthless and certainly not the same as a refund.
The case is currently in dispute with the credit card company we used to pay for the tickets. Regardless of the outcome, it serves as a warning to you if you are considering using Stubhub. Buyer beware. They are a slimy operation and not to be trusted.

"I listed two tickets for sale today (for the first time) to a concert I was no longer able to attend. The tickets were "General Admission" so I chose the "Pit General Admission" option on the listing site as this was the first "GA" option I saw (unaware that there were multiple). The tickets sold, I e-mailed the buyer the tickets right away, and that was that. I get a call from StubHub that the tickets I listed were "Lawn GA" not "Pit GA" which was an honest mistake on my part as I did not know there was a difference. I apologized to both StubHub and the buyer personally, but was told I would be charged a fee for listing "fake" tickets. The fee? $109! Are you joking? The tickets didn't even cost that much! I spoke with StubHub's customer service and they were not willing to budge at all. Where is the seller protection? Where is the customer service? I'm not a bot, I'm not someone who buys and sells tickets constantly. I work full-time and am a full-time student. $110 is a LOT of money to me - now it's down the drain. I am absolutely livid and appalled at this company. There is absolutely NO seller protection. Do not support this company!"
"I had physical tickets in hand to a concert and 2 days prior to the show, my child became ill so I could not go. I posted the tickets on stub hub and the day of the concert (2 days after posting) they sold. As I was trying to complete the transfer the instructions were not matching up with what was on the screen so I called stub hub for help. They said since I had physical tickets, I had to post them 72 hours before the show, as there is no way to create a mobile version for delivery. Gee, that would have been nice to know. Basically, they allowed me to post tickets for sale that they knew I could not deliver and then proceeded to charge me a 40% fee for the tickets. Complete ripoff and I'll never do business with them again. If someone selects that they have the physical tickets in hand, and it is less than 72 hours before the show, then they should not allow that person to post the tickets knowing they can't be delivered.....but then they wouldn't get to charge their fraudulent fee I suppose."
"As a seller, this is one of the worst sites to sell on. Almost guaranteed you will be scammed. There is no seller protection so if a scalper buys your tickets (I wish we could accept or deny who actually buys our tickets) you have no choice but to see what plays out. Usually they will resell that ticket multiple times to multiple people then contact StubHub the next day saying their ticket was invalid. Then StubHub asks you to provide proof by getting scan reports, well if the scan report shows more than one scan of the tickets then your screwed because that then "confirms" that YOU resold the tickets and sold their buyer perviously sold ones. Doesn't matter that you didn't but now you have to pay these insane fees. Does StubHub care? No because they are making a TON of money off of that type of situation."
"I bought a pair of tickets. The service fee was 40 bucks, but because i was buying 2 the service fee is charged per ticket. $80 before you even buy your pair of tickets...
I calmly reached out to stubhub to explain that the customer should not be paying 2 SEPARATE service fees for ONE TRANSACTION.
They fed me a line about how that goes towards making sure you get genuine tickets from the seller and bla bla bla. So for instance if you buy 4 tickets be prepared to shell out $200 just in fees!!
The icing on the cake is that if you were to buy 4 tickets for instance, they will charge you 4 SEPARATE TIMES FOR SHIPPING! EVEN THOUGH IT IS COMING IN ONE ENVELOPE! These people have the audacity to charge you the cost to ship 4 tickets individually even though they are going to be shipped to you all at once and in a single envelope.
You guessed it, the pair of tickets i bought? I am getting charged for 2 separate shipping fees.. They wouldnt waive one of these charges either, they said it is PART OF THEIR FEES. MEANING THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THEY ARE JUST POCKETING THE OTHER HALF OF THE SHIPPING CHARGES.
NEVER USING STUB HUB AGAIN, THEY ALSO DID NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. "
"I purchased Seattle Storm basketball tickets in April for a total cost of $464 for three tickets. I printed out my tickets today and face value is only $44 apiece. Face value=$132. Paid= $464. Stubhub Profit= $332!!!!! That is two and a half times the ticket value in profits!!! Just profit!!! And I even had to wait to print out my own tickets.
That is crazy , corporate GOUGING.
Shame. I will NEVER do buisiness with this rip off joint again. BEWARE"
"I was going to sell tickets off of stub hub that was in financial need and says I sold them to someone in person instead. Someone then did it for my ticket on stub hub and I had already sold it so I canceled the sale then I will send a $222 fee for canceling the sale. If you cancel a ticket sale with StubHub and someone has already bid to buy it they will charge you 40% of the listed price, unfortunately this information is not posted in large print before confirming to sell a ticket with StubHub, instead it shows that StubHub collects a portion of your sale. What’s not sad is that StubHub treats it like they’re almost the owner of the ticket once you’ve agreed to sell a ticket off of their site because regardless if you cancel the ticket they are no longer able to provide you going to be charged at least 40% of what that ticket was listed at. I called Customer Service to try and resolve my issue I’m a starving college student trying to study for a math exam which already cost me $500 and there’s dips into my student fines and puts me in a position where I may not be able to take this graduate entry level exam this summer. I have also had friends in incidences where they buy tickets and the tickets are fried and someone has already use them. Needless to say StubHub is not a great site the Customer Service read up a script and I would not recommend it to anyone to use. I personally will never use their site again. For a first time seller there should not be such expensive penalties. "
"As expected. Charges are too high. Resale too high."
