"StubHub created a memory that I can not forget. I wasn't planning to go to the concert at until 4 hours before showtime. StubHub made that possible even though the tickets were sold out. Thanks StubHub."
"First time using stubhub, I ordered tickets for a hockey game, had a major health call 16 hours later, tried to cancel. Not allowed. Spent 3 hours listing on stubhub because I am not techy at all. First person had me build a USA site and I am not from the USA. Could not get paid. Next guy had me build CAD site, list tickets and they sold. Then they didn't. Then they did. Then I transfered them and was supposed to get paid in 8 days. It's now been 23 days and they won't return emails or calls.
Unreal"
"I posted tickets. Transferred them they told me sale was canceled. That’s fine I want my tickets back. They can’t provide them. I call Minnesota Vikings ticket office they tell who has them in their personal Vikings account. It is StubHub customer that bought my tickets. They tell me and email me the barcodes for the tickets I sold and tell me to resell them on StubHub. (Hand to God.) is this even legal. Told I will not have any penalties but I am not getting paid for my tickets. "
" I purchased two tickets to see Six The Musical at the Orpheum Theatre in Omaha, NE for the evening of January 7th. When my daughter and I arrived with our mobile tickets, we were told that they had already been scanned and that someone was already in our seats. We were told to go to the ticket office. After standing in line for a few minutes, we got the same information. Obviously, the seller had sold the tickets to us via StubHub and at least one other buyer as well either through StubHub or another ticket reseller. We were devastated that we had driven all the way downtown, were all dressed up, paid for parking and would be unable to see the musical. I immediately contacted StubHub customer service and were told they take these complaints seriously and they would start a refund. Now I am getting emails from StubHub saying the seller had validated the tickets and they need proof from us that we were turned away. I called the theatre who could only provide me with the name of the person I spoke to that night at the ticket office. The theatre employee me told me that from their experience that I would continue to get the run around from StubHub, that they never call the theatre to check this out and their recommendation was to dispute the charge with my bank. Please do not offer for me to contact your customer service because I have already gone that route with no success."
"NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! SPENT $665.25 ON TICKETS! 24 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT THEY SAID THE TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE"
"Won’t pay me for my ticket sales . Everyone else does - SeatGeek vivid seats , but not stub hub . Criminals "
"I ordered tickets on StubHub a few days in advance of a New Year's Eve Concert to celebrate NYE and my wife's birthday. The tickets, which were supposed to arrive via email 1 day before the concert , had not arrived. StubHub was completely useless in reaching out to he seller and getting the tickets transferred. This required 1.5 hours on the phone. StubHub provided an assist to get replacement tickets which were purchased, confirmed by email receipt but had not arrived hours before the concert. I spend another couple of hours on the phone the day of the concert and StubHub was not able to facilitate the ticket transfer to get me the tickets I'd paid for. I am hoping the refund comes through as promised. Thank you StubHub for ruining what was supposed to be a wonderful New Year's Eve and birthday surprise. "
"I purchase tickets on their website for the Baylor game in Austin 24 hours and 9 minutes before I was supposed to be 2 hours away I had booked a hotel and reservations for restaurant and comedy that night when I got the email which I don't even check email that often but I did and saw that my tickets were not going to be able to be honored I was lucky enough to cancel my hotel reservation and my restaurant reservation but I was unable to cancel my comedy and lost $60 due to this. I contacted StubHub and they said they sent an email telling me that the seller could not honor my tickets but they could give me some other tickets if I was interested I contacted him and told him that I was not interested in any other tickets and the ones that I had originally looked for search for and purchased they literally ignored me they did not respond to any of my phone calls or my emails I had to contact PayPal and say it was fraud to get my money back It took 3 weeks to get my money back from payi'll be very weary about ordering tickets through StubHub."
"I purchased tickets to Adele in Las Vegas for 12/9/22 for about $1300 dollars. I was told the tickets had been transferred to me. Received emails from Stubhub . Spent 2 hrs on the phone with customer service . Then was sent an email saying that they weren’t able to get those tickets so I picked another set. These tickets were also said to be transferred to me 2 hours later . I also did not get these tickets. I was told two hours before the show that they could not get those either. Spoke to the only manager who would call me back. His name was Drew. Spoke with Drew for over two hours. He was unable to give me credit so I could purchase tickets for 12/10/22 show but told me supposedly reputable suppliers for tickets from your company. I spent another $1600 on these tickets while Drew stayed on the phone . He told me these tickets were good and print them out. I printed these tickets and also had them on your app on my phone. I showed up to the venue with my fiancé for our anniversary. Payed for parking and dinner. Went to enter the avenue and was told the tickets were no good. Contacted customer service again and was put on multiple holds for over an hour. Then was told that they could not get me into the show, while they were still selling tickets on the app for almost half of what I paid. I was hung up on and told nothing else could be done. I am an avid concert goer and have never had a company treat me like this. They just didn’t care and kept putting me on hold and then hanging up. I stood there dressed to the nines with my fiancé looking like a complete fool. Stub hub did nothing but lie, take my money ( which I can’t get back for 10 days) over $3000 dollars that I could have used to purchase tickets from someone else. Then they continued to sell tickets online to other clients. Spent over 7 hours in a two day period talking to your customer service. Mostly refused me to talk to a manager and when a manager would finally get in touch with me , they would put me on long holds then mysteriously hung up without a call back so I had to start from scratch with a new agent.
All I asked was that I could have tickets that I paid for multiple times to take my fiancé to see Adele. Instead I was called a lier , put on hold for hours and left standing at urge entrance to the show looking like an idiot with my fiancé crying.
This is how stubhub treats its customers?
I have never had an experience like this in my 51 years alive. I can’t believe this is exceptable to managers and business. "
"Listed passes for an event and mistakenly selected incorrect transfer method, which I realized shortly after the sale and cancelled the order. I was not able to change the transfer method, which would have made for a smooth transaction. Weeks later I was charged back the full amount of the listing even though Stubhub never sent me any funds for the passes. Customer service states that their Seller policy says this can and will happen. There is no transparency - if they claim they sourced passes through other means, how much did it cost them? Did they not simply refund the Buyer? I'll never know, but Stubhub will make sure to take money from you in any event simply for the 'inconvenience'. I have bought and sold on many online platforms and am flabbergasted at this business practice. I'm not sure how it can even be legal. Sellers stay away. Buyers - good luck if this is how they treat Sellers. "
"This company is truly awful, especially its customer service. I purchased concert tickets, which I never received, despite StubHub claiming (dishonestly) that the tickets had been “transferred.” Despite several calls to StubHub support, I still never received them, but they kept telling me to “wait”. Finally, two days prior to the show, I contacted support again and they admitted that the tickets had not been “transferred”. They further admitted that they couldn’t get me the tickets, so they gave me a coupon in the original amount of the tickets. The problem is that since it was so close to the show, it was difficult to find comparable tickets at a similar price. As it turned out, I found some inferior seats for a cost that was significantly higher. Therefore, I had to pay the difference and I had worse seats. Since StubHub claims to 100% guarantee their tickets, I feel like the company should, at a minimum, reimburse me for the additional amount that I had to pay. Otherwise, the “100% guarantee” means absolutely nothing. In any case, I gave StubHub multiple opportunities to remedy the situation, but they steadfastly refused. Buyer beware!"
"Highly recommend purchasing or selling your tickets elsewhere. Customer service does not exist in the traditional sense. First person could not communicate well or offer any assistance. My call was disconnected when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I called once again to speak to a supervisor and was told my call would be retuned in 24 hours. My original issue was a fraudulent review process that disabled my tickets from being listed for sale. The review process can take up to three days. The tickets are for the World Series so they are very expensive and without much time to spare. My tickets will be available for purchase on StubHub for one day, best case scenario. Also know the tickets were purchased, without fraud concerns, from StubHub the very same day I attempted to list them for sale. In hindsight, I should have reviewed StubHub. Plenty of information out there providing a clear warning. "
"I was going to be charged a penalty for the buyer not accepting transfer on ticket website. Everything was done according to directions for transfer of tickets. Seems this is how they make money. Spent 1 hour on the phone and talked with a supervisor in regards to the issue. Will never buy or sell through this website again! Not worth the headache. "
" I purchased two tickets for 624 dollars for an event being held on Oct 7th in Philadelphia. No confirming email was sent to my box until I called customer service and the tickets were for Oct 14 in a similar event in Washington DC. All customer service agents can agree on the error but they are in Jamaica with zero power. I was sent to a "finance Person" who hung up after 30 seconds.
At this point they will call me back or not in 72 hours.
On a human level..... this is not the experience you want. On a corporate level, this is unacceptable and maybe criminal performance. "
"DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!
They listed tickets for a music festival as 3 days passes but what I got was a 1 day pass. When I contacted customer service for a refund I was offered 25%. They would not let me speak to a manager. They should be refunding the difference between what I paid ($368) and the current price of a 1 day pass ($70) since that is what I got. I should be getting a refund of at least $200. They have the WORST customer service and they are STEALING money from people. NEVER AGAIN"
"So some nig money guys bought the business, screwed up a merger with its competitor, and it has been a disaster ever since. New owners say they are tech experts. I don't think so.
Some system integration was a nightmare, and the firms closed for three days. Since then, tickets are not listed, shown as sold three times, on the map but not on the offering grid, don't list seat numbers, and so much more..
It's a two-hour wait on the phone, then you get shipped to a foreign country where no one knows what is happening.
