"When I received my 4 Yankee tickets there was no row indicated on any of them so I wasn't allowed into the section/seats I paid for. My family and I seat-surfed for awhile and kept getting booted so we eventually just went up to the highest section possible and sat there. I paid StubHub $85 per ticket and ended up sitting in the $13 per seat section. Asked StubHub for a refund or credit and they claim they can't do anything. Their 100% guarantee is garbage. Don't waste your time or money with this company---Stay away!!!! "
"I wish I could give them zero stars. Even when they are wrong they will do everything to avoid giving a refund. Everything. And they don't actually control the ticket transfer, so they are brokering a sale of something they don't actually physically control. Oh they will tell you 'everything is 100% guaranteed - but what does that even mean if they don't have the tickets in their custody/possession and don't want to give you a refund unless you are willing to literally sit on hold for an hour arguing with them. Terrible terrible company. Will never buy from them again. Ok quickly - here are the details if you want to keep reading. I bought tickets for a concert. The seller then sends me an email through ticketmaster (where the tickets are held) cancelling the sale transfer. I have no further communication from Stubhub or the seller. The concert is in 3 days and I really want to take my wife to this concert. So I buy another set of tickets thinking the first purchase was cancelled. I do get those second set of tickets transferred. I call Stubhub to confirm that first sale was cancelled and they say - no - you have access to the tickets. No I don't I say and my only communication with the seller is that it was cancelled. I am told the tickets have been transferred. I decide to see if I can find a buyer or even a friend for these supposed other set of tickets. Anyway, fast forward to the day of the concert and I have to spend another hour on the phone to get my refund from these swindlers because in fact those original set of tickets were still not transferred. Bottom line - i paid for tickets that were not delivered (because stubhub does not actually control this end of the process) and I still have not received a refund or even a final status email confirming they have issued a refund. Terrible, dishonest, rotten business model. AVOID"

"Sold a ticket through StubHub. My original listing was for a Friday Only ticket for a festival that went on for 3 days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I sold a FRIDAY ONLY ticket (I have a confirmation email from them, stating it was a FRIDAY ONLY ticket). They changed my listing to a 3 Day pass WITHOUT telling me. My client was not happy (obviously) and neither was I. They later admitted it was a mistake on their end, but I DID NOT get paid nor received my Ticket back. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!"
"Tried to resell our tickets we bought on their site due to no being able to attend because I need emergency surgery. Posted and then wondered why such good seats weren’t selling. Found out when we called in their site was broken. Got the run around and transferred numerous time then hung up when a supervisor answered the phone. Maybe a class action lawsuit is in order after reading these reviews. Don’t use this so called service as all you will get is I am sorry!"

"I sold tickets in 2020 to an event that didn't happen because of COVID. I was told I was no longer responsible for the tickets. The order was no longer in my account. It was null and void.
As of today, 2 years later, I received 6 emails in the span of 1 hour demanding tickets to the rescheduled event. I no longer have the tickets. The event it sold out. After speaking on the phone for an hour, and showing proof that the sale was not active in my account via screenshots, I am told I owe $1,300 for these tickets since I "cannot fulfill the order".

"I ordered a ticket to Chicago in New York. I paid for a front mezzanine centre seat. The ticket I got was front mezzanine right (would have cost less money). After ages on the phone to StubHub, I was told I’d be sent the right ticket. They sent me worse seats again, this time front mezzanine right but further back. I called StubHub again and after ages on the phone I requested a full refund as the amount of time I was having to spend on the phone was ridiculous given I’m visiting New York on holidays, this is not something I needed to be spending time on. Also, given the change in ticket so many times I was not convinced that someone else wouldn’t turn up with the same ticket as me. Just awful.

"I posted my tickets on stub hub, and went and deleted them a few weeks later.
Apparently my tickets weren't deleted and they were sold. An email was sent to me "Apparently" to tell me the tickets were sold but i heard nothing from them until they called me the day the event to ask why I had not sent the tickets, and then they charged me $600.
Their customer service told me they would call or email me and never did. They were absolutely awful. i woudl NEVER use them agian "

"I have used Stubhub in the past and was okay with their service. I'm not sure what happened, but there are rumors that they were on the verge of going bankrupt before they were bought out by Viagogo. Their service has declined, and their prices and fees have gotten outrageous!
I bought some tickets to a concert back in August and I wasn't real pleased with the fees I had to pay, but bought the tickets anyway! The concert was postponed multiple times due to covid, and it finally ended up being scheduled on the day that I was scheduled for surgery, so I couldn't go. I spent two weeks and 10 phone calls trying to get a refund, but they were unwilling to refund, so after much frustration, I had to settle for a credit. I recently found a concert that I wanted to attend, so since I had a credit, I went through StubHub. This is where I began to get really upset! I checked there prices for the tickets and placed them in my cart. Just for ****%s and giggles, I checked TicketMaster for the same tickets. I discovered that StubHub's price for the same tickets were 30% higher, and their fees were 40% higher than TicketMaster. I recalled that StubHub had a price match program that would give me a credit of 110%, so I attempted exercise the program. When I emailed them all of the required documents, it came back as undeliverable. I ended up calling them to find out why my email could not be delivered, and found out that they have discontinued the program and shut down the price match site! At this point I was stuck, because I had to use my $700 credit. I ended up paying $350 more for that tickets, then if I had went through TicketMaster. I will never use StubHub again! "
"I purchase 4 tickets for Watford vs Spurs for 1st Jan 2022 ON 29TH Dec 2021. I paid £307 and well over normal price. I have not received sale confirmation from Stubhub and the ticket links dont work and state that the tickets have been canceeled. I have been on to phone to stubhub 4x today and I am getting no where despite being charged!!! This is disgraceful, dishonest and scandalous. I will be warning peiple via media routes to avoid this company.

"Paid StubHub for “reserved parking” in a garage for a Seattle Kraken game. SH sent me a QR code and charged my card $37.77. The garage is secured with a rolling gate. No attendant, no QR code reader, no way to get in. Others having exact same issue as me. Waited and waited. Now late for game. SH took my money and gave me nothing. Went on their website and filed complaint. No response. Total scam."
