"Student Universe forces you to book flights using flight credits over the phone. Flight credits cannot be used online to book flights. This is extremely inconvenient. There is always a ridiculously long wait time on the calls with no option to save your place in line and have the company call you back. I've been trying for months to use my flight credit and it's become quite frustrating that I've been unable to use it. "

"I recently thought I had purchased a fare to Hamilton Island on 22/12/21 for Colin Shaw. I did not receive a confirmation email from StudentUniverse so I tried ringing the phone number listed was advised to contact the carrier which I did after waiting on the line for 3 hours and 39 minutes to be told to contact StudentUniverse. This is now 24 hours after the initial purchase still with no cinfirmation. I then proceeded to purchase another ticket to now be told I have two tickets purchased. The second booking I received a confirmation email with the appropriate details. I have now been emailed and told I won't receive a refund I have to have a credit. I do not feel it my fault as there was no conformation re first flight booking.
