"My CYA is very high and I bet I'll need to treat my pool at least 2 or 3 times. Since 8 oz. is good for 25,000 gallons and I've got at most 15,000 gallons, I should get a full 3 out of this bag. The reviews are iffy, but perhaps the 1 stars didn't want to cough up another $60 at Leslie's to do it again. But, at $20 per treatment buying here, I can't go wrong. I'll be watering my back yard from my filter tank every night until this comes to get a head start with a little fresher water in the pool and I will from now on use Trichlor tabs ONLY when my CYA is BELOW the acceptable range...liquid chlorine from now on...glad I fired my pool people when I did...obviously they're too lazy to test for CYA."
