What the ship?

"The website shows multiple items in stock, but it’s been over a week and my order shows “waiting for fulfillment”. Bought here for in-stock, next business day free shipping, but should have just let my supply house order it in.

They are pretty quick to charge your credit though. If it doesn’t ship in the next few days, probably dispute the charges and go elsewhere. They are worth losing a client.

Received damaged hot water heater, can't get help from customer service

"Ordered hot water heater on 6/9/20 and was delivered by semi-truck on 6/12/20 - box was in pretty bad shape but looked ok enough. The driver told me to inspect it when I got it back to my office and inform the company if there were any damages. He specifically made a big deal of writing "subject to inspection" on the paperwork he faxed back to his company. It was IMPOSSIBLE to open and inspect the item at the time of delivery. Supply.com said to inspect and report within 24 hours. But this was a Friday, so within 24 hours would land on a Saturday when no one was working. Sure enough, I got the hot water heater back to where I could inspect it at my office and it was dented BADLY on the tops and sides - dents bad enough that it would have had to be dropped HARD. The reinforced metal ring around the top of the heater was smashed in by about 1 inch. So I contacted my so called "Account Representative" at Supply and being a weekend, no one was there so I left a detailed message and email with photos of the damage attached. Monday came and no one contacted me, so I called again. Straight to voicemail. Tuesday came, so I called the main number, got an actual person but they refused to help me directly and instead forwarded me AGAIN to my account rep who won't under the phone so...straight to voicemail. This is when I started to get mad. Emailed her AGAIN and finally got a response on 6/16/20 saying the following:

"Thank you for sending this over, and I do apologize for the inconvenience. I have reached out to the freight carrier to report damages – as well as reporting this to my own departments. I should have updates and information regarding how to resolve this situation by tomorrow morning."

Well, "tomorrow morning" came and went. Nothing. The next day came and went. Nothing. No emails, no phone calls. Not even a courtesy message to say they were still working on it.

So I contacted the shipping company directly and they had never even heard from Supply about any of this, which tells me that nothing had happened and they were just wasting my time. Meanwhile I have a hot water heater that can't be installed in a customers home and the customer is getting angry and this whole situation is making me look bad.

I filed a claim with the shipping company directly, but STILL NO RESPONSE from the Supply rep about anything regarding this case or any indication they will try to make it right. So I'm at a loss as to what to do. If all else fails, I will be forced to do a chargeback with the credit card company, which I am leaving as a last resort only if nothing else works to remedy this situation.
