"Only paid $5.99 for software (shipping included), but never received it. Have called over a dozen times, without any success (you actually get a live person at ***-***-**** x2. That is retail sales where they flatly refuse to do anything except refer you to their shipping dept. at x146--nobody ever answers that number). Also tried emailing (****@****), but got no replies or email acknowledgements. Great price, but never got it and never got to talk to anyone about it (I am disputing the charge via my CC company)."

"I placed two orders within two days of each other. The first arrived on 9-8-05. This one has not yet been sent. I have called long distance and left a few messages and I have emailed. They rarely answer the phone and they never seem to return messages or emails. A little courtesy goes a long way but a lack of courtesy causes a lack of respect. I now have that lack of respect. They have my money, my merchandise, and my distaste."
"I purchased a 500MHz iBook laptop from Surplus Computers so I could enjoy my iTunes library around the house, and also to learn OS X. The picture on the surpluscomputers.com site showed the named iBook, clearly running OS X.
When I booted the iBook upon arrival, there was OS 9.2. After exchanging several polite but firm emails (during which time their staff proved themselves to be unable to distinguish OS 9 from OS X visually), the best they would do for me was allow me to return the laptop without charging me the customary 20% restocking fee. How sweet (not)!
Bait and switch? Overselling and underdelivering? Clueless customer service reps? I won't be shopping from them again."
"Terrible dealer, they say order will be processed within two days, 9 days later no processing, they don't answer phones, don't return voicemail. They say for order info you must email ****@**** I did, and no reply. next three emails were returned as their server couldn't accept any more mail. I also emailed and left voice mail for their other departments with the request to forward to shippin or let me know status. No reply from ANY department!!!!! "
"I have made multiple purchases from Surplus computers. The products have all been either brand new or in like new condition and I have had no problems. I did recently order an item that was reduced in price by half the day after I ordered it and am awaiting a response to an email requesting a refund of the price difference. "

I love their new website and the newsletters I get from them in my e-mail are the only reason I check my e-mail. I have never had a problem with their speedy order processing. There was this one time I ordered a hard drive and I had it shipped for 2nd Day Air and I received it the next day just because they got the order processed and shipped so fast. The best thing I like about surpluscomputers.com is that they don’t just have computer parts. They have everything from LED key chains, to power tools, to children’s toys, which is great because I have two kids. I even bought some Christmas presents for them last year from surplus computers.
