"I would use Swappa before any other to buy or resell a phone or other electronics. Plenty of photos of what ypu are actually buying and feedback on buyers amd sellers. Swappa is very specific on what they allow as well as the condition of the products. ImeI numbers are checked prior to listing and if there are any issues Swappa stand behind the transaction. I've purchased four phones here amd gave sold one and the experiences were fantastic. This is the first place I would go to make a phone purchase. Also all if my phones I purchased were rated good but when they arrived the phones were perfect. They all looked brand new. The shipping is fast and the process us so simple. Customer service has always been a big help if I had a question, especially with my first transaction since I was unfamiliar with every aspect of buying on Swappa. It's somewhat difficult to communicate directly with the buyer since it's through posted messages on the site where the specific product is posted. Ypu have to wait until the other party sees the message since it is not direct but even with the delayed communication this is a more secure amd safe way to purchase. Not to mention I saved quite a bit of money. Much more reasonable than Amazon or even though the buy sell groups on social media sites. With both those avenues to utilize when buying a used phone ypu really don't know exactly what you are buying, if the phone has a clear ImeI number etc. If you buy a bad phone through other avenues you are jyst out of luck.
