"I have sold a few items on Swappa, and to be honest the only positive thing I can say about Swappa is the low sale fee (especially for more expensive items.) Everything else is negative.
(1) Low ballers in the comment section: The comment section is great for asking clarification questions, but more often they are abused by low ballers. You can easily find people who ask for 20% off an already competitive price. What a waste of time.
(2) Exposure. I was listing my item at $65 which was definitely the market price. Lowballer offered $45, then $55 which I declined but offered $60. Ten days passed and it did not sell. I listed it on eBay and it got sold at $68 within days. It went similarly for another item. In the future, I should probably just sell things on eBay, where my item sells fast and I (mostly) do not need to deal with lowballers.
(3) Staff. Staff are just not helpful. They NEVER care about lowballers. They seem to even have trouble understanding the difference between respectfully negotiating a price and annoyingly expecting an unreasonable and unrealistic discount. If you want to report repeated low-balling, they just simply say "they are just asking for a good price." Other times, if you find a problem with their website and report it, and the staff replies with a bunch of useless things that do not answer your question. When you run into a problem in the transaction, they never offer any real help."

"I think that Swappa is an OK market place, relatively easy to narrow down the device you want to buy and monitor prices and available items.
My issue is the sales BS about the buyer paying the listing fee, honestly the buyer only sees the listed price and the seller only gets that amount less the listing fee, and the fees from Paypal, the shipping costs, etc.
If Swappa added the fee on top of the sales price like the Sales Tax that they are collecting now... the cost of selling a device via Swappa is starting to be non trivial.
