"So far I would say I am very dissatisfied with my experience with System-Mods. I ordered my chip on July 2nd, and at the time I'm writing this (July 14th), my status still shows pending. My Card has been charged, but apparently it has not shipped. I've written 3 emails asking about the status of my purchase, none of which were answered. I hate to write a bad review about a company that seems to have a decent rating, but my personal experience has not on par with everyone elses."
"Be careful when ordering from these folks. I placed an order for 2 chips by mistake. They have an option to modify your order, so I followed their instructions and changed the order to include only 1 chip. They decided to process both orders anyway, and I ended up with 3 chips. They told me I could return the extra 2 chips for a refund. I returned the chips almost a month ago and have yet to receive my refund of $108.00. Don't let these guys steal your money too. Order elsewhere."
"I bought a Xecuter 2.3b Lite xbox modchip, and it was shipped after 3 days, but delivered almost over night. Never heard of DHL, but they are doing good. If I ever buy another modchip it will be from system-mods, not only because of their friendly IRC chat, but because they had the cheapest prices."

"I was a little skeptical to order from system-mods at first because of their mediocre resellerratings.com rating. However, I bit the bullet as I was eager to mod my xbox. I went ahead and ordered the xecuter 2.3b lite + from them along with the 2-day shipping (knowing ground shipping from Canada to the US could take forever).
I am extremely happy with the outcome of the purchase. The mod chip works wonderfully, albeit with some difficulty installing (this is due to the manufacturing of the modchip itself and nothing to do with system-mod.com's service). I was surprised at the speed my order came. I have had other dealings with Canada-based companies and the shipping always took forever. My order from system-mods.com took only about 4 to 5 days from the placement of my order to its arrival. Very impressive, in my opinion. I have no regrets paying the extra few dollars for the 2-day shipping.
My product works great so I have not had to deal with their technical or customer support at all so I won't comment on those. I am, however, extremely satisfied at the service I did receive in ordering and shipping."

"I ordered from them on the 30th of June, as of today their website has not updated my order status nor have I received a tracking number. In their site it is stated that they would take 48 hours for processing (DHL overnight shipping small order for Mexico). Tried calling and when finally someone answered the only thing I could get out the guy was “It will ship this week”. Tried email and now they tell me since it’s international it takes one week for processing. Well it’s been a week and I haven’t received any news on my package.
Terrible costumer support (Specially over the phone).

I have received a DHL tracking number, SMT web page updated to ready to ship status. And product has already been shipped according to Nolga (read below). I’m waiting for DHL to enter the tracking number into their tracking system. I’ll update the review when I receive my product.

I received my order the next day after it was shipped, to bad it took that long to get it processed. Besides that, the rest of the experience was ok. I may buy from them again if I need to, but tacking in consideration that it may not ship on the promised time. If they sharpen some details like customer support and processing time they could be an excellent choice.

DHL delivered them to my house 07/01/2004.
Props to DHL, too: On her way to a friend's house, my wife saw that the driver left the package in my mailbox (a no-no, apparently). She left it there, then the postal person took the package out (probably thought it was outbound mail. Idiot.). I called DHL from work using the number in my e-mail from them and explained the situation. They moved heaven and earth, and showed up with the package that evening, after calling me @ home to tell me the guy would come by with it.
One of the cables has a slightly mashed x-box end, but the controller's cord plugs in ok, if a little tight.
Overall: good ordering experience, excellent price, good shipping experience.

"I ordered from them on June 15th as it says..and yet they're website still has not updated my order status..it still says premods and it has been 13 days.They probably have not shipped out my item, I'm not very happy about this..I had left about 4 emails on their support site for orders..and I got no replies for each day I sent them(1 email everyday).Then I had to call them..about 5 times and finally they said their boss was shipping the item out..that was on thursday of last week..which was June 24th..and now I check it today..the order status still says premods..I'm sure I will have to contact them again.For spending $368.00 and not getting my product even shipped in 13 days I'm not a satisfied customer, I don't feel like spending 1/2 my paycheck and not getting what I paid for 2 and 1/2 weeks ago.My review is, they sound like a great company, I'm just one of those customers that got royally screwed over..I have no idea why."
