"I got everything as described, my modchip and all the accessories. Originally I thought it was a faulty chip so I contacted system mods support on MIRC and got very very prompt and willing help to return it but they wanted to make shure I didnt have to pay the testing and restocking and shipping fee if I sent it to them and it did work so he adviced me and walked me through how to test it again. Bam IT WORKS PERFECTLY, he helped me a ton and I now have a perfect working chip to use with my xbox. Thanks again System mods an "Jive" of mIRC #SMT channel support. I am definately ordering everything from System-Mods again! =)"

"Terrible service. They take your money immediately but it takes weeks for anything to ship. Cancelled my order and they never credited back my money despite asking many times, had to deal with the bank."

"Placed order with 2 day shipping(extra $10) on 4/14. They got my money on 4/15, and never shipped the product. 3+ weeks, especially when I am paying for expediant shipping is ridiculous.

Will not do buisness with system-mods.com ever again.

"Ordered from them because they were the only ones to have a chip instock. Great place to buy from. I only had one problem with them I placed an order on December 25, 2003 with normal ground shipping. Then gave it 10-12 days to get here. I finaly called them up on the 5th of January 2004 and asked about my order. They said that "They were on break for the holidays and that day was the first day back and that my order would be shipped that day." I said ok and then 4 days later I receved my chip. It would have been better if they had on their site somewhere that said They were on "Holiday leave". Other then that its a great place to purchase from.

I had no problem with the 1-866 number and the rep was vary polite with me. I would by from them again and I am when the X3 mod chip for Xbox comes out.

"Ordered a mod chip on April 14, 2004. I was CHARGED for the mod chip on the same day. It is now April 29, 2004, and the mod chip has NOT EVEN SHIPPED. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I tried calling them about ten times. Left voicemails, got NO REPLY. Emailed them, got NO REPLY. One time I got through, they said they would rectify the problem and to call back the next day for a tracking number. Since then I haven't been able to get a hold of them and they WONT CALL ME BACK. Worst business practices I've ever seen."

"I recently bought an Xecuter 2.3 Lite and had a great experience. I wanted to upgrade the shipping, so I cancelled my first order on Monday, replaced the order, and by Wednesday had my modchip. I was able to call someone to get my first order cancelled, and it was very reassuring to have a working 1-866 number to call."

"I originally placed the order and all of the product I wanted was indicated as in stock ( two X-Ecuter 2.3b Lite+ and one PC USB to Xbox cable).

Two days after placing the order the chips were listed out of stock and my order had still not been shipped. On the page for the mod chips it said they were out of stock however ever order marked as "processed" had been filled. Well my order was mark as processed but it was never filled.

One week later the chips came in stock and my order was filled and sent out. So far I had no complaints, that is until I recieved my order.

I recieved my order and was instantly worried simply by the packagaging the chips were in (or lack there of). A small paper thin box which was ripped, crushed and torn and inside the chip(s) were in a single layer of 1mm foam wrap. I opened the box and to my amazing found a 2.3b X-Ecuter Pro chip and nothing else.

Just to remind you I order two X-Ecuter 2.3b Lite+ chips and a USB to Xbox cable and they sent me one 2.3b Pro chip instead. Not only does this do me now good as I can't solder I needed two chips and the usb cable. Not even to mention the massive price difference between what I paid for and what I got.

I immediately gave them a call and left a voice mail on their system with my Name, Invoice number problem as well as my phone number and email.

5 days.... nothing, ok maybe they are busy.
2weeks later.... nothing, ok so I'll try them again. Phone call #2
2weeks later.... Ok lets try emailing them..No go there either.

It is now almost 2months after my order and I have yet to even hear from these people. If I don't hear anything by the end of this week I will be calling my credit card company to report this transaction as fraudelent due to non-delivery of purchased goods.

I'm happy for all of you who have had good luck, however I will most certainly never be dealing with them again.

"I placed my order on April 11th, they received there payment on the 12th, item was still showing pending on friday the 16th, so I called and they told me that they would have it shipped out on monday for tuesday delivery. That didn't happen so I called them again on tuesday the 20th and they told me it would ship ship out that day. That didn't happen so I called them on wednsday the 21st and they told me they would refund my shipping and I would get it on thursday. It is now thursday and it still has not shipped and I have not received refund on shipping. I would ask for a refund on my order, but it looks like if I did I would probably never receive my money back. I just don't see why I should have to call them everyday just for them to tell me the same old crap they told me the day before. I guess I just have to keep calling everyday until it ships out. THE WORST SERVICE EVER."

"Worst business ever. They were taking two weeks to process my order. Then they said that it would ship 4/6/2004, but it was never shipped. I contacted that I wanted a refund. They said sure and it would take 3-5 days. Its been more then a week and I still havent gotten my refund. They would not respond to my emails or pick up their phone. "I ordered from system-mods, before reading the reseller ratings, and I have to admit, I was a lil apprehensive about receiving my modchip in a timely manner, but after 6 days (2 days of this was the weekend), it arrived perfectly packaged and working perfectly also. installation was a breeze, and althought it was not needed, I knew frm sitting in their irc room, that tech support if needed was available. I am a very happy customer :)

"This company is horrible. Placed an order and got a confirmation email and all. Waited a few days but never recieved tracking information. So I contacted someone and they told me the order failed from some pre auth error and that i was going to have to reorder. My credit card was still billed though and they said they'd credit it back. So after this, i decided to order from someone else. Another week passes, still no credit back from system-mods. Contact them again and was told they would get right on it. Another week passes, nothing. Contact again and this time I'm told that it was shipped overnight, and if i want credit, i'll have to send it back to them and pay shipping and a 15% restocking fee. NEVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS."

"Ordered on March 30, credit card was billed, and nothing has been received. When trying to track my order, the system says that I do not have an account even though I had to set one up. Tried to email twice about this, the first time on 04/02/2004, and received no response to date (04/14/2004). As far as I am concerned, I would NEVER purchase anything from here again and would stay as faw away as possible. No customer service, expired security certificate, and poor account management."
