"We generally happy with our experience. A few concerns I have: It is rarely communicated what curriculum and lessons were taught during a given day, this varies by teacher. Some teachers are much better about reporting what the kids learned each day using the app. More often than not I don't know what the academic focus was that day. Secondly, I sometimes observe poorly behaved children causing safety concerns for the other students. I see that the teachers address the child on the spot, which is wonderful, but what is done if the child's behavior continues and does not improve over time? I'm sometimes concerned for my child safety when I view the live stream and see a child throwing chairs around the room multiple times day, or repeatably treating other students disrespectfully (hitting, taking toys, pushing). I think perhaps there's too high of a threshold for chronic bad behavior."

"I feel that the director only cares about the financial aspects of the center, both with staff and with families. While I understand it is a business, these are our children and I want them receiving the best care with the best professionals. It’s hard to recruit AND retain staff when their manager is inflexible, impersonal, and unorganized. If I, as a parent, have these issues, I can’t imagine what the staff deal with. You keep losing the very best staff and it needs to be addressed. It’s not all about the money! We are currently looking at other centers because of these issues, and I know other families are doing the same."

"We love the teacher's in charge of our child. But we've had I think 6 different teachers in 8 months. I'm sure turnover is common in the industry given the current economic environment, but for being the most expensive care provider in our area we expect more continuity which results in better care and doesn't require us to redo communication. We don't have confidence that this issue will be resolved anytime soon. The facility is very nice and we feel that it is very safe."

"I am so happy with Tutor Time! I was very hesitant to return to work and send my baby to daycare. It has been wonderful for his development and he loves going to school! I left some of the educational items blank bc my son is less than 1 year old. I used to be a teacher and feel the baby activities are developmentally appropriate and data driven. I ruled out other daycare that pushed overly academic curriculum too early. Tutor time is very expensive, but a great investment in my son's development. We love Brightwheel. The teachers are caring and fantastic!"

She is unorganized, doesn’t respond to us in a timely fashion (we usually have to reach out more than once), and is a poor communicator. It seems that many families and staff members are frustrated with her but nothing changes."

The director is not what we had hoped. We were so pleased with Ms. Thuba and the passion, dedication, and reasonability she provided to the children and families. She would be hard for anybody to follow, but we aren’t seeing those qualities that we loved with our current director. Everything seems to be a struggle now."
