I sent their customer service dept. an e-mail asking if they could give me ANY idea when it would ship, if not soon I'd cancel. I ordered mechandise off websites all the time because I work so much and often times don't have the time nor energy to go to department stores. This website offered the best price on the product I was looking for, but it took what seems to me entirely to long for the package to arrive. Finally, I called UPS myself to find out, no thanks to them, that UPS can't deliver the package to my previous address and I needed to change it. If I hadn't done that I would have never received my package and the TVMARKETPLACE already has my money. Customer service is a joke. No one answers the phone, the live chat is crap, and no one ever emails you back. IF you haven't purchased anything from TVMARKETPLACE don't, and warn others!"

"on dec 13 i ordered about 4 items from tv market place order number 35518 for a total of $61.40 i intended to get these items in time for christmas the web site said gaurenteed for christmass. i did get an email on this day saying it was being processed, i never got the items. i called several times and i never got an answer. i was not charged so i did not complain. on feb 23 05 i got an email from tvmarketplace.net saying my order is on it's way. on 2-24 05 i did recieve 1 item of the 4 "it was broke" and i was charged for all 4. i called several times and was put on hold for long periods of time. when i did get through i spoke to a guy named chris he said the manager tom authorized a full refund but i would have to wait for a check to be cut because it was to long after the credit card transaction "visa" and i waited. weeks went by and i called again . on hold for several more minutes on various different days. finnaly i got through and was told to hold on and then i was sent to chris's vioce mail, i left a message and no on ever got back to me. i tried again on another day put on hold finnaly i was told another check would have to be sent out after they verify the original check was not cashed. waited weeks and no check called again on 5-2-05 and asked for the manager tom i was on hold for 45 min and no one ever picked up. i tried again later this day and no one picked up. i sent an e mail got no response.

i had to have spent at least 5 hours on hold with this company over the entire course of events.
i filed a complaint with the B.B.B. on 5-3-05 and to date 05-24-05 i have heard nothing from the company the toll free number has even been disconected."
"I made a purchase on March 29th. I received a confirmation e-mail and another e-mail giving me my tracking number. 6 days later, my item still hadn't been shipped. I thought something must be wrong because it HAD been assigned a tracking number, it just hadn't left the building. I tried emailing them, but no response. So I called customer service and after a long wait, got to talk to someone. He said that he had to talk to the shipping department, and he'd have them e-mail me. He assured me this would happen because he had talked to them personally about it. Well...it didn't! I have now e-mailed them to just cancel my order. I will give an update about what happens next. But I strongly regret dealing with this company and I suggest you find somewhere else to buy your products.
UPDATE: I never received a response to my e-mail asking to cancel my order. And to make things worse, I tried calling their customer service line on Tuesday and Wednesday during business hours, and it said they were CLOSED! Very very fishy. :-(
UPDATE2: I am furious! After not hearing from them for about 3 weeks, I figured they had received and processed my request to cancel my order. Either that, or since I couldn't get ahold of them during business hours, they had been shut down. Nope! More than 5 weeks after ordering, I received a message saying my order was being shipped out. Mind you, I had never received any message saying it was on backorder. Lo and behold, it shows up at my door, more than 6 1/2 weeks after I ordered it and 3 weeks too late for the vacation I wanted it for. I am so angry at this company and the way they handelled my order. They didn't process the TWO requests I sent them to cancel my order, and they never even responded to those e-mails. They never e-mailed me and told me it was on backorder and would be shipped later. And worse of all, when I tried to contact them on the phone, their phone line was down for 3 days in a row, during business hours. PLEASE do NOT order from this company. There are many other companies out there that are more responsible and better run. This one does not deserve our business! "

"To whom it may concern,
I purchased product from said company for Christmas gifts. When it became apparent I would not receive product in time for Christmas I canceled my order and had to buy said gifts locally at a premium price.
I received a e-mail the last week in February 2005 informing me my order was shipped and I should expect it soon, at which time I e-mailed back stating I canceled this order and please do not send.
About three days later DHL shows up with said product. I immediately called customer service and talked to Chris and explained the situation to him, He was very apologetic and gave me the number to contact DHL for pickup at no charge to me. He said because of all the things that went wrong with this order if I would like to keep them he would see what kind of deal he could work out for me. After some negotiations he came up with a very agreeable deal that I could not pass up.
I’m very pleased on how Chris resolved this situation. Because of this experience and the fact they have such great prices I will always shop with TV MARKETPLACE! I’m a customer for life.

"After I ordered an Original Chocolate Factory from tvmarketplace.com, I was sent a confirmation e-mail promptly thanking me for my purchase. Three days later, my card had not been charged and the product was still in processing. I went to Wal-mart and found said Chocolate Factory cheaper. Following this, I sent more than 10 e-mails to tvmarketplace.com trying to cancel my order. After the first 5 e-mails or so, I got an e-mail telling me the Chocolate Factory was out of stock(was not marked as such on the website) and I should receive my order sometime next week. I then wrote another 5 e-mails CANCELLING my order, with no reply. Their 800- number is answered by a machine(no human), even when I called during business hours.
I will continue trying to cancel my order and will post the results here.

He asked for my invoice number and told me the order was cancelled. I haven't changed my opinion; I'll still not buy from this outfit again."
