"I first ordered a soldering station from Tequipment through Fulfillment by Amazon, so shipping/handling was handled entirely by Amazon. That was a mistake; I received my item with a broken plastic piece. I initiated a return/refund with Amazon, which prompted me to shop at the Tequipment website. On the phone, an employee (Stacie) assured me I could contact them directly if I had an issue with the refund process from Amazon.
I wanted to buy other things, so I investigated similar items from the same manufacturer. It turns out that the manufacturer's warehouse is in the same state as me, meaning Tequipment could dropship items directly from the manufacturer's warehouse. And, as luck would have it, orders over $99 (as of 2016-06-18) include free UPS Ground shipping! I was able to get 2 day shipping due to the proximity of the warehouse, and it was free.
There are some occasional weird things about the website, like how having a promo code will cancel out the free shipping discount, so I would be careful if the order's shipping cost outweighs the saved amount. However, I had this easily cleared up through a quick phone call/email to Tequipment. Honestly, I value a good customer service over a "perfect" retailer website. Here's why: Some day, you're going to run into an issue with that perfectly designed retailer website, like Amazon. And when that day comes, you're going to need to talk to a responsive team who can do something about your order, instead of traveling down a bureaucratic process or being transferred to an overseas call center in India.
They accept credit card and PayPal, including others. I first tried to place an order with PayPal Credit, but it was declined. The website mistakenly thought I had finished placing the order, and tried going through with it. Even though the checkout process only accepts one credit card, I called Tequipment to charge two cards separately with differing amounts. That worked out fine too. Only one order went through in the end. You have the option of specifying a $4 signature requirement by UPS."

They even enlisted the aid of their engineers who aren't part of the customer service department, to provide technical solutions. I was impressed because not all companies have yet figured out that the product isn't what sells, it's the way that the transaction is handled. Yep, if you know exactly what you want, you can deal with it exclusively through the online ordering system. But if you are like most people with a problem, you are hunting for a solution. This is where Tequipment.net shines.
And by the way, price is what brought me to their website. My google search indicated they had the lowest price for a diagnostic meter to find shorts behind closed walls. So their pricing is probably pretty good too. When I went to their website and started chatting about my problem, they ultimately led me to a lower spec'd meter that was considerably less expensive than what I was looking at. That was really appreciated."

"I was looking for a Rigol DSA875-TG spectrum analyzer which has a 4 week lead time from the manufacturer. Rigol found that Tequiptment.net was the only retailer with one in stock available to be shipped out immediately.
After I placed the order (with next day shipping), I realized I should have purchased with a Rigol DSG830 RF Signal Generator to take advantage of a 10% off offer.
Unfortunately in changing the order, it needed to be change to a special "kit" version that included both which would have been backordered. In the back and forth we missed the shipping window to ship it out just the spectrum analyzer that day.
Tequiptment.net managed to call Rigol and locate what was needed to be able to get me both the spectrum analyzer and the signal generator.
Tequiptment.net then refunded me the shipping cost due to the one day delay but STILL SHIPPED IT NEXT DAY AIR!
Every step of the way through multiple customer service people they were friendly and proactive, calling me back to update me with tracking numbers, etc.
