"Do not purchase from this site, the customer service is horrible and non-responsive. It took a month to resolve an issue that STILL isn't resolved and I STILL haven't received my refund.
I ordered an item on 10/20 and it arrived damanged (leaking). It took a week for customer service to respond and arrange for return of damaged item and for another item to be sent.
Second item arrived (laptop privacy screen) and was not even remotely close to what I ordered (Febreeze). It took another week for customer service to respond - claimed they did not receive my email. Uh huh. Okay.
The mistake is on their end, yet they do nothing to resolve the problem. Poor customer service. Stay away from purchasing anything from this site unless you love headaches and having your money held hostage for a month or more."
".. Found a few negative reviews online so was reluctant to order at first... but the price was so much lower than everywhere else.
Ordered a computer desk from them ... and I forgot to put in my house number during the order process. I ordered on Saturday .. the desk shipped towards Tulsa on Monday as promised on the website.
I used the online chat to check which freight company they used to ship so that I could track my package on Tuesday .. chat was answered promptly and was courteous and efficient when giving the info.
Tuesday afternoon I realized my mistake of not including the house number on my order and called the shipping company ... they told me thenerds.net would have to contact them with the address info... So I went back on chat and again was impressed with the promptness and efficiency of the staff .... I got a call-back from them about an hour later (while they were also online with the shipping company) and the house number problem was resolved with an hour or so.
Desk was delivered promptly on the Weds morning.
Very impressive price. Very responsive customer service from the live-chat, overall I would not hesitate to do business with them next time I need something that they sell. "
"This company is nothing more than a low price SCAM, wanting to charge you for items they have no intention of shipping. DON'T ORDER FROM THENERDS.NET, I DID AND REGRETTED IT!
For the Blu-Ray changer I ordered, my credit card was charged immediately, but when I went to use the "check my order" page, it came up with no information as if it never happened. When I called to ask for my tracking information, ten days after my order, I was informed that it was back-ordered with no expected in-stock date, and that I would be credited for my order, which they say will take 3-5 days to post (which everything to do with them and nothing to do with Visa, since they post credits to your account the same business day).
It blows my mind to think that any company would charge you for something they don't have in stock, then take well over a week to tell you it's not coming, and over two weeks to give you back your money.
In short, look elsewhere, because this company is a SCAM.
I almost forgot: even if you uncheck the box for sending you promotional e-mails, thenerds.net FLOODS your inbox with advertisements. By floods, I mean no less than 5 times in 1 week, and the very first e-mail I got, even BEFORE my sales receipt, was a promo for extended warranties... that I got 3 more times. "

I ordered a Haier BrewMaster Stainless Steel Draft Beer Dispenser for $568.51. It arrived in a timely matter and I was happy UNTIL I found that the bottom of the box had been cut off and it was then repackaged with straps. Upon opening it all up, I found that while the refrigerator was intact, ALL the parts necessary to make it a kegerator were missing.
That was the start of the nightmare...just like everyone else here wrote, I had the same experience...e-mails NOT answered, calls NOT returned. I documented every call I made, to whom I spoke, the date, what was said etc. When I did get to speak with Erick, he said that it was a manufacturer's error and many were shipped without the "guts". I was told they were backordered and I'd receive confirmation of shipping them out within two days.
Finally after weeks of back and forth, and after talking to the owner who was apologetic (but I doubt his sincerity), I was totally fed-up and told them I no longer wanted the kegerator. I demanded that they send a label so I could return the parts they sent and that I wanted a refund BEFORE I sent it back.
Finally, they complied and did just that. I boxed the fridge back up, attached the label and away it went.
WE ARE TALKING WEEKS OF FRUSTRATION! DON'T DO IT...DON'T BUY FROM THEM."

Still no credit posted to my credit card account. Very smooth and friendly on the phone through many calls. Account review on theNerds.net site shows credit posted but not reflected on bank's site. Last told to give them two more days to post credit. I have had favorable experience with previous purchases from them, butI will not do business with them again."
"Shopped all over the net for the best prices including s/h and TheNerds.net won hands down. After reading some negative reviews about TheNerds, I called to confirm the price and availability of the items I wanted. Although they said the information on their site was up to date, they looked it up themsalves and confirmed for me. Then, from online, I ordered 4 speakers and 1 amp @ 3:10pm on Tues, and paid the extra $3.99 rush fee to have it shipped out the same day (I think 4pm was the cutoff time), but otherwise chose standard, ground shipping. At 7:34am the next day (Wed), I received the FedEx tracking numbers in an email. Next day, (Thurs) I received 4 speakers, in line with the tracking prediction. Following the holiday 3 day weekend, I received my amp on Tuesday, again, as predicted by the tracking information. The prices and delivery times were outstanding. Only minor dings, assumably from shipping or the factory, since everything was sealed up in mfr. packaging. Thanks Nerds!"
