"If I went through my Medicare Plus Blue policy, I would be required to go through one of their "In Network" providers. The lowest "In Network" provider would have required me to rent the CPAP for a year, at a charge of $93 a month. That's $1116.00, plus another charge that brought it up to about $1200.00. There are also reporting milestones that Medicare requires from my Doctor, to their in network providers; even though I have been using a CPAP every night for the last 7 years!
The CPAP I purchased through the CPAP Shop was $545 out the door. That`s a savings of $655 !! - That is a no-brainer
