"DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM DIGITAL HUNTER!!!!! The next day after you've placed your order they will send you an email asking that you "confirm the order" by calling their phone number. Then they will tell you that you camera comes without battery and they need to sell you one of their kits. If you refuse they'll tell you that your camera doesn't have us warranty it might be used. What a waist of time."

"Dear DigitalHunter Customer service:

Once again, can someone please advise me on the status of my order with the order number 62073-D. I was supposed to get my order before the Thanksgiving but not later than November 27, 2011 but to no avail. I spoke again with Stephen said to be at Extension 103. I have also spoken to Ben as shown in the email below. I call celled but always on hold.

According to your instruction, I do not have any information and have not gotten any tracking number. I needed this order for my trip to ASIA that started on November 27. On November 27 I left USA for my trip when I did not receive my order. I am right now in Shanghai and I will not be back in USA until January 2, 2012. Can you explain what happen to my order please.

I called your office several times from Shanghai on December 1, 2011 from my hotel in Kunshan City, China and was on hold for about one hour and nobody answered the phone. I called back again on December 2 using Skype because of excess international cost and still nobody back back to the phone after 30 minutes.

I am really worried about the order I placed. Please advise. Thank you

"Terrible service, phone number that does not work 90% of the time and the retailer that does not stand after their product. You know you are in trouble when the retailer tells you "I dont care, I am not making money on this deal anyways". Will never do business again. Have a feeling that all of the positive reviews are either forced or faked."

"www.thedigitalhunter.com site is a scam. I order something in early Oct; they charged my credit card and I still have not received it even though it was supposed to arrive at the very latest by 10/25/11. When I called them on that date they said it had shipped and they would email me tracking information but they never did. Half the time their phone number does not even work. I am now working with American Express to get my money back since I never received the products ordered. "

"BUYER BEWARE - BUYER BEWARE - BUYER BEWARE - BUYER BEWARE

NEVER WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MERCHANT AGAIN!!!

05JUL11 - The sales rep talked me into two sigma lenses vs the canon lenses I was going to purchase.

25JUL11 - I later returned them and ordered the two lenses I was going to purchase.

Now the problem begins.

- Problem 1: They fail to alert you that the item you are ordering is not in stock when the order is first placed.

- Problem 2: They fail to provide an invoice showing the returned product credit and breakdown for new items. Still no invoice after repeated phone requests.

- Problem 3: They do ship one of the two lenses but the 2nd lense is supposedly "back-ordered". I had to place over 15 calls to still learn that the remaining camera lense has still not shipped in TWO MONTHS (JUL25-OCT5).

- Problem 4: They will provide you with an estimated shipping date and item never ships. Nor do they contact you to update you.

- Problem 5: After I finally get fed up and cancel the 2nd lense, THEY NEVER REFUND the amount to my credit card. They will tell you it will be processed in 24/48hrs and NEVER gets processed. (Calls placed 10/5, 11/2, 11/4, 11/7)

- Problem 6: They will even provide you with a credit confirmation and transaction ID in an email but NEVER PROCESS THE CREDIT. Even phone calls to the customer service manager does not get the credit processed!! WHAT A SCAM!

I will NEVER do business with this company again and will tell everyone I know to save yourself the hassle!!!!! Therefore, BUYER BEWARE!!! I wish I would have read some of the other reviews before I placed my order with this merchant. They should have their visa privileges revoked.

The cheap price is NOT WORTH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HEADACHE.

"This company is Really a big scam. PLEASE don’t read these reviews that give it five stars.
I placed an order for a canon 7d with a 3yrs warranty. First I asked them if the item is in stock and the salesman said sure. I asked him where is there company and he said it’s in New York, and everything is shipped from the US. I asked how long does it take to be shipped and the answer was 6-8 wks. because it’s an imported item. He tried to talk me into buying the US model plus all this accessories but I knew what I wanted so I said no, then he kept telling me that the camera ships without the battery and charger (that’s it) and I said okay, I can buy them from eBay for $100 extra.
I placed the order and my card was immediately charged for the warranty only so I called and they said that the card will be charged as soon as they get the camera. I received the warranty card a wk. later. After 6wks I called to see what happened and they said that the camera has been shipped to them and I might take a wk. or 2. I called again in two wks. and they said that they have the camera and they’ll send it to me, the next day I checked my card and it wasn’t charged so I called again and they said that the camera they have is the US model? So I told them that I called a day before and was told that they have the camera then the salesman asked me to call them the next day.
I called the next day and spoke with Josh, and I explained everything to him and he said that the camera Canon 7D that I ordered is the imported model so I said I know. He said do u know that everything is in Japanese and can’t be changed? Do u know that it has a PLASTIC BODY and not the magnesium allow body in the US model?? So I said no, canon won’t change the specs of their camera specially the magnesium allow all weather seal body to sell it for less. He said that’s what u’re getting.
Then I told him I wanted to cancel my order and he said okay but I can’t cancel the warranty???? I told him I’ll call my card company and dispute the charge and he laughed saying “u can do whatever u want u’re not getting the money back”
Their tech support was so rode and inappropriate, I’ll do everything in my power try to inform others not to use this website and even trying to shut it down, I’ll contact BBB to open a case.

"This company is a big scam they just taken 2790 usd of my money without giving me anything. My story is not different from other . I made a purchase and then a guy called me telling me my order was going to come different from what the website advertised so I requested the order to be cancelled. That was july 5th. Today they told me there is nothing they can do i should talk to my bank.

I spoke to my bank they told me the transaction no for the refund they gave me never existed.

What they do is to tell you that the refund will be done in 30 days and after those 30 day. They will ask you to wait for another 30 days. If you have just purchased . Just ask for your refund now. And report it as scam within 30days.

America need to get rid of company and website like this. I dont know why VISA/MASTERCARD and banks let these people operates.
I have just consulted my legal team I am going against them. I have grouped some few people with same experience. Suing is the only option and we already know where the offices are despite of their effort to hide them
