Site advertised 2-8 days to ship so we expected delivery before Christmas. No communication received until we called on 12/19/12 to get order status. They received a supply on 12/19 and shipped on 12/20. Received on 1/2/13 in excellent condition and packed extremely well. The time to ship advertised on the site was misleading. I interpret this all to mean Gourmet Kitchen carries little or no stock. A nice business model but the customer should at least be advised that the item is not in stock. I did check their website and it now does show whether or not an item is in stock. Hopefully this was a one-time glitch."
