"Overall the Neat Scanner is a great tool to have. Its cloud definitely puts it above the rest. I am able to scan, organize, and have access via a mobile device where ever I go.

My only drawbacks are the alignment and how long it takes to scan. I find myself having to crop a lot due to the images always come out crooked. Once scanned it takes a little while for it to process and show up on your screen. This could be a result of the software trying to organize and place it. But like everything else upgrades come out to fix minor problems like this.

I am still satisfied with the product and have been recommending it to friends and coworkers."

"I had issues with the Android Neat Mobile and the images the receipts created. In working with Technical Support i was told to pick between having a good image (Taking a picture as Document) or detailed information OCR (Taking the picture as Receipt) .. I was informed I couldn't have both. I did see an update was recently done and it gave me the option .. no follow up from Technical Support. A customer of 5 + years with Neat and I'm questioning my commitment."

"Have been working with the Neat NC1000 and the product works well !Check invoices and dates as well as amount totals once scanned . For the most part it gets the information right . Its a learning curve with the machine and I think I'm also starting to understand how the unit operates . Hope I can get my invoices organized by tax time . Like the fact that I can read and drop into files . Been audited in the past and they found several tools not deducted from my purchases . $1200 worth .This could save me time and money !"

"I don't like a monthly charge for cloud use! I only need it on my iMac and Mac book pro. Cloud update messes up my files. I have separate file cabinets for house, farm, studio and personal expenses and like it that way. Now they need to be straightened out. if each update is going to create such havoc I will cancel and use thumb drives."
