"I purchased a scanner that was supposed to be Mac compatable. The software never functioned properly all the scanned information had to be entered manually. I tried to update the software and it would never download. I ordered a software update online from NEAT and paid an additional fee to order it. The result was all the saved data scans were erased. I called technical support and the neat sales staff and received no assistance but was disconnected twice. One staff member sent me an email and told me he was sorry I had issues with their product. Well, that certainly makes up for 5 months worth of lost data and the money I spent on the scanner and software. I threw the scanner in the trash. DON'T waste your money."

Kudos to your marketing people though. They marketed this sows ear and made it appear to be the perverbial silk purse for record keeping and it is junk. "

"The new digital Neat Scanner is Great! This is an upgrade from another model, the touch screen and ease of use makes scanning super easy. I scan alot of receipts for work and it has made my workload faster and more efficient. My only issue is that I needed to contact Neat customer support, I called and emailed repeatedly and never received a response. Luckily I was able to fix my connection problem myself. Its worth the investment!"
