"I chose the Twister Group because they were offering the best price on the item I was looking for, the Shure E4 earplug-style headphones. Couldn't find it cheaper anywhere at that time. The item arrived new, in original packaging, undamaged, and in working condition, there were no idden fees, such as "sales tax" that some merchants add fraudulently to orders after the fact. The price I saw was the price I paid. I don't know anything abot their customer service department because I haven't had to deal with them yet. I guess that's the ideal case. I am glad I bought from them and would do it again."

I ordered a keychain Digital Picture Viewer mid-week and received it 3 business days later. When I opened the item did not seem to function at all. After contacting the manufacturer they assured me that the device was defective and needed to be returned to the reseller for replacement. After contacting the very rude reseller, I was told I would be responsible for the return shipping costs of the defective product. I also received a story about how if “I would have bought it locally I would still have to drive to the store (with my own gas money) to return it.”
Since the package was crushed a bit during shipping I decided to stop by the Local UPS store and talk to them. After looking at the package and contents they assured me that the item shipped was too large for the box that it was shipped in and would be the fault of the reseller or shipper not UPS.
After telling the reseller this he said that UPS should have checked to see if it was correctly packaged it the first place before it shipped. This guy had an excuse for everything. Now, I may not be in the shipping business, but I don’t think it’s normal to wait around for the pickup guy to show up before you close and tape up the box.
I am waiting for UPS to officially inspect the package so that this can be resolved.
To sum it up here:
If you order from twister and your product works, consider yourself lucky.
If you order from twister and it’s broke. Sorry, but you were warned.

"This is my, albeit late, review of The Twister Group. I wanted to buy 2 universal "learning" TV remotes and this vendor was the only one which had the model I wanted: The One For All URC-8811. Their price was inexpensive and the remote is the best you can buy at this price level. The 8811 can copy commands from other remotes which aren't already pre-programmed into the 8811. I made the order at 2:30 AM and the remotes shipped on the same day. TTG sent me the tracking number via email the next day. UPS 3 day shipping for sending 2 TV remotes was $11, a little high, but it was the best shipping rate TTG had.
Another reviewer here states TTG's phone number cannot be found. Strangely enough, I just checked their web site and it seems this is true. I guess I didn't notice because I had no need to contact them. The order proceeded smoothly and I have been using the remote ever since. The person to whom I gifted the other remote also used it. TTG's phone number was included in their email: ***-***-****. If I need other A/V equipment and I cannot find it locally or at a good price, I would certainly buy again from TTG."

"I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THETWISTERGROUP.COM AGAIN, partly because of its illegal hacking and partly because of its poor services – all described below.
TTG'S HACKING: The Twister Group (TTG) hacked into my private, password-protected account at a compare-prices-and-merchants website and changed my review and questionnaire answers from being critical of TTG to being supportive and appreciative of TTG. The compare-prices-and-merchants website sent me a copy of an email it sent to TTG. The email said that IP address identification demonstrated that TTG had, in fact, hacked into my account. I filed a complaint against TTG with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC). The IFCC is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. TTG is aware of my IFCC complaint.
TTG'S POOR SERVICE: I ordered four camera batteries from TTG. TTG confirmed my order but said it was "Pending" because of an unexplained 'shipping issue.' TTG promised to contact me and explain the shipping issue, but it didn't contact me. The next day, I wanted to call TTG, but TTG gave no phone number at its website. I contacted TTG via its "Contact Us" page, and then twice more via email, each time asking why my order was "Pending" and when I'd be told about shipping costs. TTG responded to each of my contacts but failed to answer my questions. After 12 hours of getting no answers about "Pending" or shipping, I canceled my order. I wonder whether TTG called my order "Pending" because it didn't stock batteries that it claimed to have in stock."

"I ordered a set of wireless headphones from these folks. I messed up my order (I ordered an additional headphone set instead of the one with the transmitter) which they corrected after two e-mails. They entered the wrong zip code when the shipped the package and immediately recalled it once they discovered it. Kudos to the Twister Group for actually checking. They re-sent the package 2nd day air instead of 3rd-day ground which was really nice of them. Only downside is they don't have phone support but I guess that's how they keep prices low. Overall I trust these guys and would order from them again in the future."
