"I have been shipping products with prepaid labels since they were first available through UPS, USPS and FedEx and was always able to drop off my packages and leave. Well on 3/2/22 I want to UPS and dropped off my packages and was told I could not do that anymore with out standing in line and showing my I.D. I the contacted UPS customer service and got this response:
"Our locations handle customer on a first come first serve basis and require all customers to get a drop off receipt for you protection as proof you dropped the package off. Since you have challenges standing for long periods of time, may we suggest you reach to your The UPS Store location and inquire as to what time of day is the least busy, so you are not standing in line for long periods of time. "
No worries as I will no longer use their services. I am good giving USPS & FedEx more business."

"First you cannot find the store, then once you find it you need to call them and listen to nasty, then they come out with your package and give you grief, all because the deliverer was too lazy to deliver my package. Workers wonder why they are picked in and feel hostility from customers. If your service is lousy and your attitude is worse, you deserve everything that customers give you. "Received a package from Wisconsin in Naples Florida shipping cost was $11 in return I was shipping the package to Chicago to a family member the cost at the UPS store was $38! This is not a franchise this is extortion. If this is a UPS model to go out to the stores and allow them to absolutely rip off customers then it’s time to find another company. "I went into the store at the Silverdale, Wa. location today to ship two packages which were to heavy for me to get off the truck, Bebeck, (spelling may be off) the assistant manager, helped me all the way from loading on dolly at the truck to final checkout. EXCELLENT service! i have had recent surgery and my strength was not up to par and this young man went above and beyond!

"I don’t have a printer available. Unfortunately I had a return label emailed to me being that Zulily was unable to mail it. Due to time constraints, I went to the local York, PA. UPS store with my return package, the label copy on my phone, and 2 other packages to return. The UPS store charged me TWO DOLLARS for a 'use of computer fee' which literally took the employee about 3-4 seconds to do. Then they charged me .12 for printing the label plus tax. Another store with UPS drop off capabilities charged me .10 for the EXACT service several months ago. Unbelievable. NEVER AGAIN! I just thought everyone should know about this policy. "
"I was notified by Amazon to take my return to the ups in Summerville sc and they would pack & ship for free. The associate there told me it was too large(a comforter) and I would have to buy a box for almost $11. I said I guessed I would take it home & box it myself to which he replied as long as I taped it too! Called Amazon. They refunded my money & told me to keep the comforter. Not that it makes a difference but I am a single mom & have to get someone to sit with my daughter as she has Alzheimer’s & is not able to walk. So making two trips is a hassle. Thanks Amazon!!"
"Shipping rates are insanely expensive for even the slowest delivery ($30+ for a couple pound ground package delivery). Then you are subject to interrogation reaching Spanish Inquisition levels about what is inside. Since when is there anything more than asking if the contents include dangerous or flammable materials!? For the average online seller on common auction sites, shipping out of the UPS Store is unbearable. Lost money on auctions because the shipping exceeded the value of the items. Refused shipping one occasion because the item being shipped was a harmless plastic accessory to a firearm (you can't ship any firearm-related goods from a UPS Store, yet they ship actual firearms between dealers all the time?). For setting up online auctions where you set the shipping amount in the auction description, I was told that, in order to better estimate shipping ahead of time, to call them with the size of the box, the weight of the items, and the zip code for delivery. How would I know the zip code for delivery if I haven't sold the item yet?

"I shipped numerous packages this past Christmas season from the UPS Store at 210 W Hamilton Ave, State College, PA. Every single one of those packages arrived on time and nothing was damaged. I went in today to send my grandson Michael a birthday gift and received outstanding care yet again. Antwine saw to it that my gift will arrive intact and on time.
