"We don’t usually write reviews, unless it’s been an exceptional service.....however, this situation propels me to do so this time!
We needed 100 funeral programs printed...no big deal, right?
We pick them up, go to the church.....start to fold them, they’re printed wrong! Ack! One hour til it begins.....called them....they’re at lunch, I leave a frantic message “Please Reprint, we’re on our way” my husband walks in and they indeed were printing....the clerk is less then congenial.....he asks her to help him fold them....tic tock.....she silent helps for a bit, then walks away.....wait.....we asked for 100.....that’s only 50.....wait how come the picture is distorted?? Oh no, they look awful....what happened? The ones we printed the day before are from the same pdf file.....tic tock.....no time......wait....we paid for 100.....later.....
So, we called the next day only to be treated with less then good customer care.....asked for a manager....silence....she told the clerk who she was.....”oh I remember you”......silence........my daughter then asked about the 50 vs 100.....the clerk proceeded to argue with my daughter......ummmmmm........what in the world???
Is there a manager or owner out there that cares? There were several issues...and not even once was there an “I’m sorry” - we are due a partial refund.....and an apology for the additional stress moments before our beloved’s funeral!!
We do not plan to ever darken the doors of the UPS Store - #5030, on Lee Blvd....except to collect our refund!"
"stopped in the UPS store at1195 st mathews rd in Orangeburg, SC 29115.
I had 2 pages to fax that were in color. Was charged 5.50 to fax then the fax came out solid black. When I told her it didnt fax where they could read it she said it was because they were in color. Had she told me that before she sent it i could have printed in black and white. She said she could resend but she wanted to charge another 5.50. "
"Moving overseas, so I went in to the Bennett Colorado store and asked them to ship some boxes of essentials by DHL. After 10 minutes of fussing with the computer the "associate" (who also happens to be the owners son, and of course the owner says he did everything right, big surprise there) says "Oh that's why! You can't ship DHL to a PO Box!" Since there are no street addresses in the country I was moving to, I was told I had no choice but to ship USPS unless I had a street address, which I did not. SOOOO, I said to ship the least expensive AIR option because it takes MONTHS to arrive by "surface". (Later found out that all he had to do was to ship to the DHL depot on island, but of course that is way too advanced for this associate to figure out). Was told it would take 8 days with USPS, which was perfect because we would be traveling for several days. Move forward two weeks, still no packages. Contacted USPS, was told they were shipped SURFACE. All I get from UPS is excuses, if I get a response at all, which I usually don't. They accept zero responsibility for this mess. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spent over $1200 in shipping fees and TWELVE weeks later, still no packages. I had to purchase all of the essentials, on a remote island, which has cost me over $1000 already. This mess has cost over TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS and no one at UPS cares at all. COMPLETE AND UTTER INCOMPETENCE AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. Don't use the UPS Store for international shipments, EVER. You will never see your packages again and you will be out whatever shipping fees you paid."
"The absolute worst example of customer service I have ever had the misfortune to personally witness was at the UPS store at 9909 MANCHESTER ROAD WARSON WOODS, MO 63122.I can barely imagine a worse situation, unless it be the doctor who amputated the patient’s wrong leg or the treatment received by African-Americans at lunch counters during the 50s in the South. This is solely because of the owner of the store, a throughly repulsive woman named “Fern”. Let me start by stating that, if this person’s name had to have a botanical theme, a much better choice would have been “Crabgrass” or “Horsetail Weed”. Despite being absolutely devoid of anything resembling manners, she apparently thinks herself fit to serve as a clerk on the front lines of this business. This is the equivalent of having a man born without eyeballs serve as a sniper on the front lines of battle. Her face is permanently frozen into a scowl by what must be presumed to be many decades of similarly nasty behavior towards others to which I was witness. On the occasion in question, she demonstrated herself to be a double threat both to customer satisfaction and safety. When a person waiting for assistance innocently brushed up against a table on which a bizarre advertisement consisting of a mock-up of a window pane (complete with real GLASS) was precariously positioned, it came crashing to the ground. Despite this man not even having realized what had happened, immediately the vicious Horsetail Weed was on the attack, shouting, “You break it, you buy it!” When he made movement to leave the store, she rushed to confront him at the door. Hurling repeated insults at him, she even threatened to physically assault him by throwing the broken shards of glass from the display onto him! (I have to admit, I sort of wish she had actually tried doing that, because I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have had come out in one piece herself from the ensuing fight!) Just thinking back on the whole ugly scene makes me cringe, but this person does not deserve to have any business in her store. I certainly will never be going there again, and will encourage everyone I know never to do so either. Obviously, if she was anyone other than the owner herself, 99 chances out of 100 she gets fired on the spot. Whatever her problem is, whether it’s just an utter lack of social skills, or the beginning stages of dementia, or just plain old meanness and stupidity, this woman just needs to retire and go away, go far away. Hopefully she’ll get an appropriate Xmas present this year, maybe like a visit from 3 ghosts"
"Unbelievably poor customer service and they make it impossible to pick up a package! It is like they want to send it back!!"
"Not only do they have the best prices around for printing, they are easy to work with and convenient. Also, when I went in to print off a large amount of documents, their cash register malfunctioned. Instead of making me wait, they made my print job complimentary. Erica was very prompt and helpful!
This is the Wilmington Pike location in Centerville, OH.
Obviously, since the purchase was waved, I don't have a receipt to "verify" that I'm an actual customer."
"When I come into The UPS Store to ship my packages Lisa has always given me excellent customer service. She goes the extra mile to get the job done and it's always with a smile on her face. Always asks before ending the transaction if I needed anything else while I was there. Great Job!!!"
"This young lady absolutely great at what she does."
"Store 5281 - Ypsilanti, MI ... Worst..Experience .. EVER: the hapless clear Steve immediately pulled up all of my personal information by my phone number, then took almost 15 minutes to re-enter [why?] my name and address as I was shipping items back home in Phoenix. They charged me over 42 dollars to pack and ship 2 small items weighing less than 5 pounds total, by ground! Do not use this store. If you're committed to UPS find another location nearby. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!"
"I shipped some fragile items from Greensboro, N.C. to Sarasota Fla. When it was received nearly everything was destroyed. Wood, glass, packaging was damaged. This is the last time I will use Ups. When given a chance, I will tell others of my experience with Ups"
"The UPS Store #4980 on Hunt Hwy just Had a uneducated assistant manager with no people skills named Ashley help lose a customer over a printing request. As the owner stood there and did nothing to assist and identity herself. How weak! If you don't like your business then close it! Don't tick off customers to get your self satisfaction. Hope your husband James likes you losing business and all his hard earned money. "
"review for ups store #5927.....not a good experience, my stuff was packed in a box twice too big and charged the extra money and when I questioned how full the box was they claimed it was 3/4 full and when it arrived, was barely half full, I made one big mistake and that was to request a repacking, I said something about repacking and they acted like it was the biggest trial they ever encountered and looked at me like I was not all there, but I see it was pure laziness on their part, not a very helpful place as far as customer service, one thing they do excel in is making extra money for ups."
"I used them to pack, insure and ship and antique that was over 100 years old. note: I PAID FOR THEM TO PACK IT. It arrived complete broken to my client. After days of calling and asking how to file a claim, I FINALLY got a hold of the "manager" on Capitol Hill, WDC who was VERY rude and told me that if I did not have a receipt of the original purchase they can't give me my money back. Receipt?? on a piece my family had for years?? are you kidding me?? then she said I had to have the piece appraised....HOW???? YOU BROKE IT!!!!! What is the use of declaring a value and insuring it then? Will NEVER EVER use the UPS Store again. Will not leave it this way....will take it all the way to the very top."
"I use their services shipping etc. occasionally and am satisfied. However on two occasions I needed forms notarized. One time , in the evening, I had to drive well out of my home area to get the job done. Another time, at approximately 1:00 p.m. on a summer Saturday afternoon, I called five surrounding stores to inquire if their notary was in. The answer was no every time. This is in direct contradiction to the UPS store information posted online. My advice---go to any bank it they're open and they don't charge a fee like UPS does!"
"8/15/2013
Unprofessional, Clueless, Rude, Dishonest, Unhelpful, Indifferent. One worker said we don't offer the service I asked for, when another worker, I believe the manager, corrected him and he left to go to the back of the store. Then Misquoted price for work already performed. Had to pay 2x's price than was quoted. One worker made it to seem it was my fault and wouldn't listen to me. It's their responsibility to get accurate information to customers. He didn't let me finish speaking and dismissed me. He didn't apologize for his colleague's misquote. He brushed me off. He was too busy making dinner plans with a friend. Avoid if you could. I could write a lot more but I only am giving a brief overview. I will be taking my money to another local UPS. They don't seem to care about their customers. Well, if that's the case, good luck staying open. There are more than enough of businesses that can drown you out your pitiful services. Maybe that's one of the reasons your store us rarely busy. Your worry, not mine. BTW, just to be clear for those of you reading this review, this is the UPS store in Dunmore,Pa."
