They called me immediately after they realized the battery I purchased wasn't going to be available for a long time and gave me other options to choose from! "Original item purchased was backordered however website did not indicate that nor was I notified. This was a time sensitive purchase and after no shipping notification I called in and was informed the item was backordered. The salesperson offered options and we agreed on a replacement item and the salesperson offered to ship it 3-day air for the inconvenience. 4 business days later the item ships standard ground and I wont be receiving the item till 10/7....11 business days after placing the original order!!! Just a very poor customer service experience and I don't believe I will be shopping there again. I

Overall I'm happy with my experience.
The items (camera batteries) turned out to be on backorder, and customer service only called me on the day when I was expecting delivery (and I don't know why the website said they were in stock if they weren't).
The customer service rep offered a replacement which he said was better, though more expensive, but with better warranty, too. He offered a courtesy price reduction. The new order arrived in time.
They are charged up and ready to use. We'll see how they perform."

"TOTAL SCAMMERS! BAIT and SWITCH! I ordered a Nikon battery from the website that said it was in stock. The next day I get a call and email saying there was a problem with my order. I returned the call and was on hold in excess of 15 minutes. I was then told the battery was backordered and it would be four weeks. Then I was given a VERY hard sell to buy an off brand. I declined. I just happened to look at the other reviews here and see nine of the first ten reviews had the EXACT same problem. I would bet that this store never has had a genuine part in stock. If you want an after market battery that very well may not work, have fun ordering here! To resolve my problem I walked into a store here in Portland, Oregon and bought a genuine Nikon battery for $3 more than this place wanted. An extra $3 well spent, I feel."
"Don't trust the positive reviews as they are likely paid/fake reviews to offset the negative ones. I read about the bait and switch tactics other users had experienced where an item is shown as "in stock" but you immediately are contacted by theestoreonline by a representative who says the item is out of stock, is back ordered and will take 4 - 6 weeks to ship, and then tries to cross-sell you to an after-market alternative. Because of the great price, I decided to try to order a Nikon replacement battery for my D90 anyway. Sure enough, right on script, I received a call, out of stock, back ordered, and was told "we have an alternative product we will offer to you at the same price." It is a marketing ploy, and I feel it is consumer fraud. Believe the negative reviews and order from a reputable online company instead."

"Bait and Switch masters. They will tell you something is in stock when it is not and then try to get you to take something else after you have made the purchase.
I bought a Nikon SB 400 flash which was listed as in stock, but wasn't. Called when they emailed to say there was a problem with my order and they immediately tried to substitute a Vivitar flash. Today the flash I ordered is still shown as "in stock" on their website.
I will not ever use them again."

"I just had my first experience ordering from the Theestore online and am very pleased and impressed with their service. The item I'd ordered wasn't in stock so an English-speaking lady Sales Associate telephoned me and suggested an alternate which provided more flexibility for the needed use and still at very competitive price. The item was delivered within a day or two, much sooner than I had expected. I will certainly want to contact the Theestoreonline inially for future online puchases.
