"My first experience with Theestoreonline was very satisfying. After I placed my order, I was notified by a customer representative that the product (brand specific) was not available for
several weeks. I needed to have the product right away so he presented an alternative solution to the situation. There was another brand which was actually better in quality, but was more than I wanted to spend. At this point the representative advised me that as a first time customer I was entitled to a $10.00 coupon discount which brought the product into my price range. Everything worked out to my advantage and I will have my product right on time. I was very pleased with the entire transaction and will shop here again!"

"Be weary of this store. It's a ‘bait and switch style of business. There are a lot of reviews on here of people satisfied about being sold a different 'but better' item than they originally ordered. I believe a lot of them were duped.
I placed an order for an in-stock item (Nikon SB-700) and a few hours later I was called to say there was an issue with the order and that a CSrep would talk to me soon. I was then placed on hold for ~7 mins (this in itself was very unprofessional), then informed that the item was back-ordered from the manufacturer for 4 weeks. The CSrep informed me that she could get me a ‘better’ item Sigma for the same price-the Sigma EF610s DG retailed at $399 and assured me that it would be the cheapest rate on the internet. A quick web-search showed me that Adorama and Amazon sells this same flash for $225, and the CSrep quickly said she would match the price and ship it out immediately. At this point I realized that they were trying to sell me an inferior product with a huge markup. I declined the alternate product and cancelled when she spoke to her manager; and told me that she somehow did have the Nikon flash available from their New York store – I doubt this doesn’t to show up on their database.
I’m very dissatisfied with this style of business and it’s certainly unethical. I also feel badly for these other reviews from people who state they got a ‘better product’ than what they came to the store for.

I was contacted by the manager about this review. As an update and in all fairness, I did receive the SB 700 flash for a very good price and shipped in less than a week. This is good and well, but I still find this way of business questionable. "
"I ordered a replacement charger for my canon powershot through the Estore. The next daybinwas contacted by their staff stating that the product was out of stock. However, they stated they would provide the upgraded charger that includes a car charger at a discounted price for the inconvenience. The charger was then shipped that day. Great customer service with the rep on the phone."

"Ordered a Canon speedlite, and was told by the sales representative that he could guarantee that it would be there by the date I had requested. When I received e-mail confirmation, they had made their first mistake and put a slower shipping while still charging me for the expedited shipping.
I called to fix the shipping problem, making sure they still knew the latest the item could arrive. They confirmed it was fixed. And it appeared so, so I thought it was fixed.
It ends up that the flash didn't ship until 3 days after the sales rep confirmed it would. I called multiple times and was always told to talk to somebody else. After talking to customer service (extension 550), the guy was flustered and told me what I already knew about the status of the package. He said that I shouldn't have expected the product to arrive so early (in 5 days with 3-5 day shipping), even though I had confirmed it with two other agents.
Poor customer service and problem solving; I've sent the product back and won't be shopping with them again. I wouldn't recommend this business."
"Placed and order and received a call that the item I ordered was 4 weeks backordered. I told them I had no problem waiting. Brad Jennings the customer service rep I spoke with was insistent on trying to up sell me to a much higher priced item. After several rounds in the conversation I decided to have him just cancel my order. Upon my cancellation request he said "I am not going to cancel it....You cancel it!" I am talking to a customer service rep who called me to tell my my item was backordered and somehow wants me to cancel my own order. Is that not what he is there for. He refused to give me an ID # and I am not sure he really gave me his real name. I am very disappointed in this company!!"
"I have been retired from sales and marketing over 10 yrs. I said to myself this is to good to be true. Looking over the websites the Canon 430 EX II was 299.00, This site @ 219.00, so I call, it was that item for that price. I printed out the website, it read in stock. Next day I got a call from Sara, item on back order up till 4 wks. She tried to sell me on another item, I have been in sales over 35 yrs. she was good. I know about price points and what is needed to make a profit. Bottom line I cancel my order and will pay 299.00.
After writing this review I was contacted by a Mr. Stevens a manager. He stated their was a mix up in their inventory and the item would be sent out today, so I should receive it within in 4 to 5 days. We will see.
Update: I received my order as stated by Mr Stevens, 5 business days, new, plus batteries and charger. I will upgrade this review, I can not give a 5 because of their inventory system."
"I actually read nagative reviews but I still wanted to give it a try. My Canon Flash 430EX II order was place on 9/4. Nothing happened until 4 days later. I got a call from them. They stated as expected: "Nantional back order for 6 weeks". I just checked their website. The item is still listed as "In Stock" now. I have to agree with others, this is a very bad businee practice.
Update: Got a call and was told this was a mistake. I've shipped the item and I got tracking number."
"I was really satisfied with this online seller. The only point I want to focus on is that the product I purchased was out of stock, but on the web site it is "in stock", also several days after they call me to suggest some solution. They should renew the web site better.
Anyway, I have to say that the solution they suggested was really convenient for me. Thank you."
"I purchased a battery charger Canon CB-2LY Battery Charger for Canon NB-6L Lithium-Ion Battery; I received a call from a very friendly person that indicated that my part was backordered for 4-6 weeks! They went out of their way to get me set up with an alternative part. I am *very* impressed with their customer service and responsiveness to customer needs. Definitely recommend them! :) (note: my previous 2 star rating is not accurate... they fixed the issues with my order very promptly). Five stars now. Thanks guys!"
"Why does this seller continue to list items as In-Stock and ready to ship when this is clearly not the case!
Review after review suggest the same exact experience I too have - order something 'In Stock' only to have Sara call you and offer you something else. In my case, three Canon 430's. Yes - the price on the web was the best and now I know why - this vendor wants to move you into another product.
My order was placed over a week ago - that means I have two more weeks until my 'In Stock' items actually ship (if the firm sticks to their word).
I checked with Canon - plenty of stock in these items. Every other photo retailer has plenty of them. So why does this vendor not have an 'In Stock' item. There can only be one reason - to switch you to another item.
Somehow - it does not feel right!
UPDATE - 9/9/2013 - I received a call from Jeffry at TheeStoreLine and he apologized for the misunderstanding. He indicated that there were actually two of the flash units in stock and he would ship them off today. He attributed the misunderstanding to a new employee.
Once my order has been completely filled - I will revise this review.
