"Love this company and the whole concept. I made my first purchase a couple of months ago. Items were in great shape, one still had tags on. Returning the items that didn't fit was easy, and free if you were asking for credit instead of refund. I have another two boxes on the way for me and my son. The description of the clothing's condition has always been accurate. Things arrived clean and lovingly packed in pretty polka dot boxes with tissue.

"Sure, it's a good website, they usually ship on time and yadda yadda. But WHY do they think it's a good idea to wipe someone's cart after a certain amount of time? Other thrift sites don't do this, it doesn't "add" to anyone's experience. I usually take a while to decide if something is the right fit for me, but with thredUp, you've almost got to decide right then and there, or else you risk losing the item if you're busy or something happens and can't get back to your cart in time. It's annoying. Does this happen in physical thrift shops? Yes, but with an online shop, if someone snags an item and wants more than a day to decide if spending their money is worth it, they should be allowed that day without worrying if a site's ridiculous "expiration date" is going to screw them over. It says they want to "be fair to all customers" by making sure they get a shot at an item (because they're all unique) - but again, in a physical thrift shop, wouldn't they get no second chances anyway? Other "unique product" sites don't count down the minutes until an empty cart. It makes no sense, and it honestly just makes it frustrating because some people aren't at their computers 24/7 waiting for a freaking expiration date to count down. It's probably not even for the customers, considering. Honestly, if you're close to one, I'd say just go to a regular thrift shop because it's less of a hassle."
"I buy plus sized clothes and simply need to. ThredUP looked to have an amazing selection of plus sized clothes and I’ll be honest, I was thrilled. Even now, it’s hard to find exactly that. When I received my first package ( I only ordered a shirt and a pair of shorts to test it out ) I ripped it open excitedly. The shirt? Gorgeous, fits. However it does have dark stains conveniently hidden under the sleeve of it, but I’m not worried too much. My arm will hide it. However, the shorts I had ordered? The plus size I had picked ( and please note it said Plus in parenthesis on the site and my order ) it’s a plus in a junior. my size 16 in jeans mother couldn’t even fit her own leg in it, it was so tight.
However, I went to remedy it, turns out I can’t return it. And I wouldn’t worry so much — except during waiting for my order, I went ahead and ordered three more pairs of pants / capris in that site. I went to cancel, turns out you can’t! They won’t let you. So I rush to message them, tell them what was going on. I want to cancel the order out of worry. I can’t even remedy or return the shorts that won’t fit a toddler, and I’m probably gonna get children’s clothes again in my order.
It’s been two days and they have not responded to my customer support chat. I work from home on chat and if I took two days to respond to someone, I’d be eviscerated. Terrible way to run a business. I understand mistakes happen, but for them to not even try to fix it or respond, I’m just really disappointed. I’ll find somewhere else to get plus sized clothes. "

And every item I've received is exactly as shown in the images. I'll recommend to all of my friends and even feel confident buying gifts and having them drop shipped."

"I sent them a bag of clothes, jewelry and purses. Once they got my bag all I got in my account was $4.00. I saw that all my items were sold and no money was put into my account. I sent them a few message with NO response. I had to let it go and know that this company is a joke.
