Cheated at every turn.

"The computer without a mind will respond to your request. At every turn, we had been cheated and could not use the ticket for various reasons. No point in doing business with them. If you are going to sell your ticket, don't assume they will let you. If you are going to request a refund, don't assume they will do that. If you are going to request a credit, don't assume they will give you one. If you are going to request a reply, don't assume it will be from a person. If you are going to ask for help to accomplish anything with your ticket, don't assume they will respond. If you are going to buy the ticket as a gift, don't assume it can be done. If you are going to pay them for any of this, burn your money instead; you won't save any money but you will save your time dealing with their computer without a mind. They have designed everything to work for them in keeping your money and nothing for you to sell your ticket, get a credit, or get a refund. And they can blame the event organizer for anything they fail to do because that is what they did with me, and they'll do it with you, except that when they do it with you, pass the blame, you'll remember this review."

A History of Fraudulent Business Practices

"I purchased $400 worth of tickets on 06/05/21 for an event scheduled 04/16/22. It was not until after Ticketmaster collected the money for my MOBILE tickets, which do not require printing, mailing, etc., that I got a notice that my mobile tickets would not be available in my account for more than 10 months - just a few days prior to the actual event. This is clearly intended so that any resales basically have to go through their own reselling site, so that they get to collect yet more fees for tickets. I purchased tickets, and do not have them. I was not provided warning that I would not actually be given tickets for 10 months, and that if I wanted to resell them it would have to be through their own site, prior to purchase. I would not have purchased them, had I known. This is a mobile ticket, after all...there is no other reason they should not be made immediately available. Ticketmaster has a very, very, very long history of continual immoral, unscrupulous, and illegal business practices, screwing both the performer and the customer at every turn, which is why both performers and customers hate having to deal with them. And this is yet another in that long line of Ticketmaster frauds and scams."

$2100 for Obstructed View without Prior Notice & Horrible Response

"Three days ago, I bought 4 tickets for the Rolling Stones concert in LA on October 17th. Total cost = $2100 which includes a $400 service charge for the 4 tickets, or $100 service charge per ticket—but that’s only my secondary complaint!
After purchase, tickets arrive via text and suddenly, there is a notice that we spent $2100 for an OBSTRUCTED VIEW! Are you kidding me??? Talk about bait & switch! Talk about fraud & misrepresentation!!
I immediately started calling TicketMaster &, in a nutshell, here’s what they said was the ONLY solution: The TM agents want me to go to the Apple Store and buy a $2100 gift card; call them back; and the agents can the exchange our tickets using the Apple card! Is this a joke? Since the tickets are already paid for—and, admittedly, they can exchange the tickets, then why must I go to the Apple store and buy a $2100 gift card?
This morning, another TM agent called me to ask if I got the Apple gift card. I said, no, I can’t do the Apple gift card until they refund my money! Agent replies: it will take 7-10 days to get a refund!
Ticketmaster has intentionally defrauded me & mine. This is beyond outrageous! $2100 for 4 obstructed view seats without warning?? As I told the last agent who called, I am an attorney and i will file a lawsuit against TM on Monday morning. There is no way I am going to let this slide. All I want is an even exchange for good seats and without gift card!

How do you spell monopoly ? Ticketmaster!!

"Ticketmaster is a terrible site that we are stuck with. Example: I waited for show to open got in real quick picked the seats I wanted even were checked green, but missed by a small amount to another person. What did ticketmaster do? offer me tickets all the way in the nosebleeds even though there we close seats. In short Ticketmaster tried to dump off bad seats to me as if I had no choice. I HATE!! this company and after a life long concert going habit, have decided that if the act I want to see is using Ticketmaster as their ticket source I just wont see them anymore. Check out any review site this company has a 1 star review everywhere!"

Only to get partial payment when requesting full refund

"Horrible service!!! I requested a full refund and only received partial payment. This is unacceptable. Why would I want a partial payment in return when I paid FULL PRICE. This concert was postponed three times. I was unable to attend this time around is why I asked for a full refund. I have to not been able to speak with anyone. When you try to start a chat it gets closed right away. Doesn't even give you time to hit submit. When you try to e-mail someone you get an auto reply. I paid $456.26 on my to get back $194.90. I will not recommend Ticketmaster to anyone. I need my full refund."

Lairs and Thief's

"Never Never Never use Ticketmaster!

The people running Ticketmaster are a bunch of Liars and Thief's!

I spoke to them in October about my events cancellation and after a long song and dance; they told me that they would give me a full refund. They also said it would take up to 60 days for me to receive it.

Now 75 days later and I have still not received my refund. I tried to call them but their number no longer works, so I emailed them to find out that I would not be receiving a refund. They told me that “Vouchers have become an industry standard” and I can use my voucher and to go to another event within 12 months! Not only are they not refunding me after they said I would be, they are giving me an expiration date before they steal my money all together!

I will never use this site again and will continue letting everyone know about the lies and theft.

There is no way that they should be able to tell me that I cannot have a refund for an event that never happened due to a pandemic and then try to tell me that I have to endanger myself to get my money back. Ticketmaster is robbing people in such a bad way! Unbelievable!

Ticketmaster takes advantage of Pandemic

"Ticketmaster is the only company we have encountered that will not provide a full refund for events. I talked to a representative this morning about refunding our June 15th Elton John tickets at the excel center in MN. MN is not even allowing people into restaurants right now. It’s insane that Ticketmaster will not refund. We have over $1000 **** in these tickets. Airlines, resorts, events have all refunded, but not Ticketmaster. What a terrible coMOA year!!!"

Brought me to tears

"I am such a patient person when it comes to customer service. I understand that the people over the phone aren't responsible for for insane wait times and processes that are set in stone. I always try to keep that in mind when waiting. The first time I talked to someone, they told me I could handle my issue myself online. This was not true at all. I tried the chat option and I turned my back for LITERALLY one minute after waiting 45 minutes and turned back around to see the person had disconnected the chat (there is no notification option). I tried loading a new one and finally, an hour and a half later, I got to speak to someone. They got all the way through the process and failed to see there was a small detail that made it so they couldn't help me over chat. A little frustrated, I decided to step away and try again the next day (in the middle of the week). I tried the chat that afternoon and it wasn't available. So off and on all day I kept trying. Nothing. Today I tried again and waited another 45 minutes to speak with someone over chat. I was prepared and had all of the necessary info but they couldn't update my payment info over chat and they sent me on, yet another goose chase. I called the number he gave me and the line was busy, so I called 20 times in a row before my call would even go through (I swear these numbers are not exaggerated). Then I waited for ONE HOUR before I decided it was going nowhere. So now I am stuck in a situation with two tickets that I can't exchange or sell until someone can help me. I have NEVER in my life had this terrible of an experience with customer service. They really need to update so many things and make so many things more accessible. It's almost impossible to do anything other than purchase tickets without having to speak to a rep. I got so upset I was literally bawling... I guess there's a first time for everything... thanks Ticketmaster."

Encourages scalpers

"After joining a queue to buy tickets to an event the moment they went on sale, I was notified there were 2,000+ customers ahead of me. That was fine, it was a popular event. I waited for 45 minutes in the queue and by the time I was able to make a purchase, every single ticket available was a "verified resale" that had been marked up to more than double and triple the original prices. Even the worst balcony seats were marked up from $79.99 to over $500 in some cases. Scalpers had purchased huge amounts of tickets in bulk and immediately resold them at a huge markup. Ticketmaster already had the monopoly on this event and really ruined what could have been an amazing experience for actual fans. If you are a scalper, ticketmaster is definitely the place for you as they seem to cater directly to scalpers. "

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

"Ticket master have not mastered the delivery of tickets! or anything else. Terrible service and BS fob off's
Shame on you and I will never order off you again.

We go to the theatre in London 6 times a year and Brighton about the same. We buy theatre tickets for friends and family as birthday gifts and Christmas.

We will continue to do so but not through Ticketmaster.
My wife ordered tickets on the 18th November and we were told they were dispatched on 20th Nov. Now 20th Dec and no tickets, just a thread of poor service emails from GRAYSON.

He said we should have ordered tracked postage. we paid extra international postage and the option for tracking was not available.

We ordered tickets for Chicago in Melbourne for our son and his girlfriend, we are in the UK and we are flying them back for a family Christmas and the tickets are one of their gifts from us.

We are being told that to pick physical tickets up at the theatre is possible at a charge of 7.5 dollars each but the purchaser has to be there to pick them up with card used and photo ID?

So Ticketmaster think we are going to fly out to Australia to pick up the tickets?? Morons!!

Firstly our son who the tickets are for should be able to pick them up.
Secondly why should we pay extra? did we lose the tickets??

We took out insurance but reading through that not sure how it will help.

DO NOT USE TICKETMASTER! read the real reviews here and look at the rating. They are an absolute disgrace.

Ticketmaster Stole My Money!

"I purchased tickets from Ticketmaster for Jerry Seinfeld at The Reno Event Center on June 6, 2019. I purchased the tickets for my husbands birthday. As the date of the event approached, Saturday October 9, 2019, I received a few emails from Ticketmaster about the event. 
On the date of the event I attempted to download the tickets to my cell phone. The link came up but when I clicked on it I got a message that said "You have no upcoming events at this time."  I tried several times with no success. When we got to the venue we went to the box office with the order number. They told me that the number was not a Ticketmaster number, so they checked the seat numbers and told us that the tickets were in someone else's name. I asked them if they could check to see if someone was sitting in those seats they would not do that.  All the employees in the box office were trying to help, they even took my phone to try to download the tickets but were unsuccessful.  I tried to call Ticketmaster customer service  but of course they were closed. Feeling very unset and frustrated all we could do was leave. I was in tears. 
The next day I called Ticketmaster customer service to get a refund. They explained to me that I had purchased resale tickets from someone else selling their tickets on the Ticketmaster website. I was totally confused and had no idea that anyone with tickets could resell them using the Ticketmaster website. After a Long conversation with customer service the conclusion was the name on the original tickets was not transferred into my name by Ticketmaster.  The associate I talked to told me that an investigation would have to be done and they would contact me with the results.
 I called Ticketmaster once a week for three weeks with no answer about my refund.  Finally I called again on Thursday November 14, 2019 and was told I would not be receiving a refund.  Can you imagine how I felt? My husband and I are below poverty level, I had to sell some of my dead mothers jewelry to be able to even buy these tickets for my husband. I paid $438.84 for a service that we didn't get, and it was out of my control.  It was a Ticketmaster error yet we are being punished.

How I lost $2000 in ticket master - please do not ever, ever buy fan resale tickets nor sale anything there!

"Everyone should READ THIS BEFORE EVER BUYING FROM TICKETMASTER! The robbery made legal! I bought Ticketmaster "verified" fan resale tickets worth almost $2000 dollars. I then realized that I could not attend the even due work, so I listed them for re-sale. Then boom in a couple of weeks I sold all tickets, got an email sais that I will get the payout in 7 business days! But as I am waiting for the money the even day passed and next week am getting a chargeback on my credit card, turns out the person who bought the tickets files claim with their credit card company saying he never purchased and someone else attended on the event. Now Ticketmaster will not refund me the money since the even date has bassed, my credit cards have gotten chargeback and am legally scammed out $2000 thanks to the Ticketmaster platform.I also cant file claim with my card company because too much time has passed. If there are any lawyers out there, willing to help me I have all screenshots and calls documented. Ticketmaster is the biggest legal scam on earth, I learned a very hard lesson how they will never support or help the customer and simply say sorry there is nothing we can do!!!"
