Buyer beware! Consistent FAIL

"Ticketmaster is a scam. Time and again, when we have attempted to buy tickets at the time that they go on sale for an event, the site 'locks up' just before checkout'. When you are forced to re-enter, the best available price is significantly higher. Any Venue or Artist using Ticketmaster should be aware of their consistent failures. Is is no surprise to me that they now have so many competitors in the space. Avoid Ticketmaster and the Venues that choose to use their service (or lack thereof)!!!"

Never Again In My Life!

"Sunday I was browsing on Ticketmaster for an specific event, so I decided to purchase two tickets. As soon as I hit buy now, I received the wrong event tickets. I immediately got in touch with them, and it's been several days since the incident occurred.They advised me to put the tickets up for resell, and I did. No one purchased them, and I did not attend the event due to the location. I have spoken to multiple customer service representatives, and been placed on hold numerous of times, yet I'm still waiting on the investigation to be resolved. I want my money and I need it now! It's ridiculous how they treat people when they are making billions of dollars!!!"

stolen 50 bucks

"Recently purchased u2 joshua tree tour for Vancouver. I am already a member of the u2 website, tried to make a purchase in their website using my member code, but they kept charging me 50 bucks extra for subscription (which I already had the code for). Didn't wanna lose the tickets so I paid, but they are really annoying to deal with blaming me for the mistake of their **** website."

They are awful!!

"I purchased 2 tickets on Ticketmaster, received the incorrect tickets. They would NOT change to the correct tickets or refund the money. Worst customer service ever. Run away quickly!!! I went to StubHub and they were perfect. Now I'm trying to sell the ticketmaster tickets. Ugh! I will NEVER use them again and I'm trying to get the word out to everyone!"

The GOLDEN Circus!!

"Unable to give 0 stars or I would.


Purchased 4 tickets for the circus and paid $52.15 in service fees, $22.00 tax, $4.50 postage (first class is 47 cents and they were sent first class)in addition to the cost of the tickets.

NEVER AGAIN!!! We will just go to the box office from now on and take our chances at the door!!!

NO GOOD SERVICE, WEBSITE HELP IS DECEIVING

"Once they get the money involved there's no way you can able to get a refund. If such unforeseen circumstances happened to you and you did not use the ticket to watch a concert, they'll not give you any option or at least give some portion of the money you spent to get the ticket.
Their service is VERY DISGUSTING. Just think about you lost the money or misplaced your money just to console yourself. Imagine if more than 10 people missed to watch concert every weekend and multiply it by $40 something or more as cost of their ticket of course it's a lot of money.
These are worst experience of a customer service I spoke with. THERE SHOULD BE NO STAR for their service, so DISGUSTING!

NO I.T. DEPARTMENT IF THE MOBILE APP MESSES UP

"***CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING 'RESALE' TICKETS***

I was having issues booking tickets through their website. It kept telling me I had an invalid postal code, so my friend used her Ticketmaster app to purchase the tickets and transfer them to me. When she transferred the tickets one transferred, the ticket that was re-sold (seat 4) technically sent but when I went to view it on my mobile app it said "This is not a ticket". The other ticket (seat 3) showed a bar code that could be scanned and when logging in online I was able to print the ticket. When I called in to customer service, they tried to reassure me that everything will be okay and I will get in, they will just email me the ticket. Email never came.

So I called again, still having nothing on the mobile app, in my email, or on my online account using a desktop indicating that the second ticket that was purchased is valid, although on my friend's app it said transfer complete. I was then told that THEY DO NOT HAVE AN I.T. DEPARTMENT and could not provide customer support with this matter. He offered to resend the emailed ticket (the one I never got in the first place) and by this time, I told him... who is going to pay for my hotel and gas bill when I get to the gate and I can't get in? He placed me on hold and after a while of looking at everything, told me there was no difference between the two ways the tickets were purchased and they would hold the tickets at the box office. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying tickets. Here's hoping we aren't driving 6 hours to flip a coin and see who gets to watch the game?!

Make Up Their Own Rules On The Go!

"Purchased in June 1 ticket for a concert taking place in November 2016. Tried contacting their customer service the same day of the purchase. Waiting time was too long and so sent my cancellation request by email. No response from them for 2 months.
Annoyed, I tried calling them again. Lady on the phone tells me that they cannot refund me because I had to talk to someone on the phone the same day of the purchase. Calling her BS out, she then tells me the ticket is not refundable. I demand a supervisor, she puts me on hold for 18 mns hoping that I would hang up! "supervisor" comes on the phone and tries to serve me the same crap. I try my darn hard to explain to him there was nothing about that phone call specified, not even in their Terms which would a first in CS history!! and that there was no indication about ticket not being refundable. Runing out of ammo, he basically hangs up on me. I immediately called my bank to dispute the transaction and Voila! Money back in my pocket!!

Ticketmaster is a fraud and you should always use your bank if they try to pull up some new fantasy rules. I forwarded to my bank all my cancellation requests as proofs. Ticketmaster could not do anything.

"the worst buying experience you could ever imagine. reset password link doesn't work even though they time your purchase time and the fees are astronomical.
60$ worth of tickets and 24$ in fees. 0 customer support.

"Worst ticket site ever. Screwed me over so many times. I had presale tickets and they let me download them, so I listed them for sale as "in hand". Turns out, those aren't valid tickets, and the date I was told I get to download the actual tickets was still not the correct date!!!!! Got charged waaaaay to much for a 3rd party ticket selling site due to Ticketmasters lack of organization and information. I will NEVER buy from Ticketmaster EVER again!!!! What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Absolutely disgusting service!

"I purchased tickets before I was in a wheelchair I had an accident which has left me in a wheelchair rang ticketmaster to see if there was seats open for wheelchair access there was but they couldn't swap my tickets over they said I had to sell them and then purchase the wheelchair tickets which were $100 more than the tickets I had paid for they then turned around and said its my own fault for being in a wheelchair. Absolutely disgusting! will not be going through them ever again!"

CUSTOMER SERVICE? Hah!

"I went online and saw tickets for a Florida Panthers game I wanted to buy for my husband for our anniversary. There were six seats in the row, but I wanted the two at the end. The site says you can pick tickets once paid. I paid and received other tickets than what I wanted. I called Ticketmaster and after redialing continually for half an hour, they very politely said, "too bad, we can't do anything". Their option was to put the tickets in resale and buy two more! Do they really think I'm as stupid as they are?!?!? Don't bother using Ticketmaster. They charge a Service Fee but no Service is provided. I now have two tickets I can't use. Why have Customer Service -- why not a recording that just repeats, "We're sorry, we really don't care!""

"I have seen many websites that sell stuff, not only eBay and Amazon. Every major store has its own website that sells their stuff. I've seen sales sites in developing countries. I have yet to find anything as slow, unreliable and stupid as Ticketmaster. Searching for tickets for over 30 minutes. Seriously? A messenger pigeon is faster than this. How could a self respecting artist sell their tickets through Ticketmaster is beyond my comprehension. Btw the registration and submission process on this website sucks too, except less. How many times do I have to go through the "I am not a robot" thing in one login session? I guess 10 times would be too few."

"I purchased 2 tickets to a Detroit Red Wings game for $670. After the purchase was completed, the seats assigned were not the 2 seats I had wanted. When I called to get them to change them, I was told that the tickets I bought were from a season ticket holder and they can choose which of the 4 seats to assign. The problem is that Ticketmaster puts their name on the tickets and then basically says they are not responsible for how tickets are issued. They have wiped their hands of any fault and just told me "Oh Well". They put their name on the tickets, they sold me the tickets, therefore they are liable for customer satisfaction. There is also no way to get a hold of the ticket holder to ask to change my seats. DO NOT buy tickets from Ticketmaster...again DO NOT BUY FROM TICKETMASTER....."
