" made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I completed the purchase. I clearly could have avoided to pay $28 service fee on a $60 ticket. Let alone other websites sold the same tickets for $20 each instead of $30.
Stay away from Ticketmaster. "
"Purchased tickets as usual. TM sent a note weeks later stating we had purchased tix for a totally different concert. Cancelled them and CC as we have had our card stolen previously. Called TM and told them of THEIR MISTAKE. Got told to **** off, would not make good on their error. Have spent thousands with them in the past. Will use another vendor going forward."
"Company selling fake tickets and expensive tickets up to twice the original price. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CRIMINALS...!!!"
"Let me tell you a story about how you screwed me out of $134.00. I bought tickets to a concert that was set for 9/2019 but then was rescheduled to 5/2020. I knew I was not going to be here because I'm moving to Germany. I called in for a refund and made it clear to the rep that i am moving so I no longer have that bank account open. He said NO PROBLEM we will send a check. I was on the phone for 40 minutes getting this done, I should have realize this person was lost by how much time it took to submit a request. he confirmed my address and said up to 4 weeks to get a check. $ weeks pass and no check. I email about it and they said yes we have you set for a refund it takes 5-6 weeks for a check. I have this email if you need it. Sill no check. I email again and get an up beat response saying: Don't worry we processed your refund back your card on 9/4/2019. WTF I call in and the rep says yes you should have received a check and just apologized over and over again and told me i need to contact the bank and do additional wok even though you screwed up to get a refund check sent out to me.FYI when a customer is **** stop apologizing. That doesn't fix the problem you just make then angrier. Be a little more creative than " sorry we messed up what do you expect from me." I fly out to Germany Tuesday morning. Remember that trip i was supposed to go on? Which is why i closed that account and requested a check. I have too much going on right now to do extra work in an effort to clean p you incompetence. how about you apply a credit to my account for the money that you owe me and i use that for a future event. you deal with the bank and you screw up.
"
"I purchased incorrect tickets. I contacted the company within a half hour, Of course, there was nothing they could do to refund the fees. All I could do was re-sell the tickets which means they AGAIN get their re-sale fees and you cannot EVER get the money back that you paid. HORRIBLE COMPANY. "
"If I could give 0 stars to this company, I would. I paid 332 USD so 442 CAD for two tickets SECTION 303 so as far as you can possibly go. I tried to resell the tickets and no one will buy them. Why? Because you go on their website and they are now 50$ HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? If you valued a ticket at 332 and then diluted its value to 50$ then how on earth is that even equivalent. I want my money back for these tickets. I will raise hell if I have to because I waisted over 200$ if I do the difference from when I bought them to their price drop now. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR VIP TICKETS. RIDICULOUS. BUY FROM STUB HUB EVERYONE."
"Astoundingly bad customer service. Bought tickets to a concert on the phone, then debited by credit card and they then said they could not send them to me because I had not select deliver option and, to make things worse, they could not provide them by Will Call either. Truly a dysfunctional organization. Avoid Ticketmaster if at all possible. "
"Ticket master is a rip off. They won't change any tickets you buy or will charge you a big fee...!! Very rude customer service to a first time user, will never use them again, they will just refer you to huge policy papers to read!!!. I advise you to go to the main event page and buy from them, don't waste your time buying from ticket master!! "
"I spent hours (literally) trying to buy tix to Phantom (in HI) yesterday!
Finally gave up because I couldn’t get the “Next” button for moving from the code they were going to call us with to be available above the task bar on my phone. Then I tried it on my tablet and couldn’t even find the bloody ‘Next’ button on that device. If I didn’t want to see this show so badly, I would have given up ENTIRELY. The site experience sucked all the joy out of my day yday. Seriously."
"Worst experience ever!
After they suggested I cancel my order and use the money to repurchase better seats in order to avoid the $10 per ticket exchange fee, the site wouldn’t allow me to purchase new tickets. I called to figure out what’s going on, turns out, since the site has a limit, no matter what I do, even though I canceled the previous order, I can’t buy more. After numerous calls and suggestions like using a different IP, different laptop, different phone, different account, different address, different name etc, nothing worked and they basically told me I’m **** out of luck and couldn’t get my old tickets back now. Thanks Ticketmaster!!"
"We're full time students that never get to do much so we thought of going to a concert this summer. Tried to buy a couple $32 tickets on your abysmal website and you get all the way to the end to find out about $30 in fees have been added. So we're buying 2 tickets for the price of 3? How do you sleep at night?
So yeah, I guess we're not going to that concert. Won't be doing anything that requires your crap service. You don't even offer an alternative way to purchase tickets anymore because greed. Is your company run by Big Pharma because they also screw people as they rob them? Wouldn't surprise me."
"Its all good to the point an event is cancelled, you need a refund or any other help from costumer service - which is non existent. I had a horrible experience with multiple tickets now in the UK. Stick to smaller ticket offices and not to that LA scam"
"I would highly recommend to go to the events actual vendor to purchase your tickets from! this company is absolutely horrible to deal with! on March 16th I used their Android app to purchase what seemed like a Hockey game that was playing on this night. through their app it didn't show this was an away game and in Orlando, FL, I am in Boise, ID. How I found out was sorta embarrassing but I walked up to the doors at the arena to find out hey you purchased tickets to an away game. I contacted support as soon as I could just to be told to basically you're screwed and we will not help you or exchange your tickets to a local game. They even went as far as gave me multiple reasons as to why I was denied a refund. Would even reach out to the "producer or venue" to say hey there was a honest mistake in purchasing tickets may we refund/exchange them for them."
"This is the biggest scam I have ever seen. I sold 3 tickets, taking a $40 loss. I just wanted to recover some of the money, I wasn't trying to make a profit. I entered my debit card for the section on "selling tickets" and a credit card for the section on "buying tickets". I thought it was odd that they required both. The tickets sold and I received an email asking for verification on the credit card (entered for buying tickets). I reentered, got the same email. Contacted customer service, was told to use the debit card for buying tickets. Okay, so I deleted the credit card and entered the debit card for buying tickets. Got the email again, for the verification of the card I deleted. Contacted customer service again. I was told I couldn't have 2 debit cards one needed to be a credit card. Okay, so I picked a different credit card from the original one. Still got the email asking to verify the information for the original card. Contact CS again. Was told to delete all extra cards on file with only one so the system wouldn't "be confused". Still got the same email. CS again. Was told they unfortunately do need a credit card added to the buying tickets designated as the "claw back card" in case the event is cancelled. So, I requested a phone number to speak with a representative. Emailed back and said they see that I have not yet selected a payout destination, I need to enter my bank account information. Are you freaking kidding me??? Do not use Ticketmaster."
"I bought Platinum tickets a day before regular tickets went on sale to the public. I am giving the tickets to my son as a Christmas gift and wanted the best seats I could get. The seats I was offered were in a good section and row but didn't specify the seat number.
The seats I received are at the extreme left, beyond the side of the stage. Very disappointing.
I called customer service and they would do nothing, even after being escalated to tier two support. They said they don't have access to see the seats they are selling because Platinum seats aren't controlled by them. They wouldn't exchange them or refund them and they wouldn't even buy me additional better seats because they couldn't see what would be better among the Platinum. Ridiculous.
They suggested I try again tomorrow when tickets are available to the general public because they can see they do have better seats available then. So I bought Platinum tickets early that are worse than what I couldn't gotten if I waited?
Bad system -- I'm very unhappy."
