"I ordered a 'special' system. Part of shipment got held at the border for 2 weeks - when I called customer support I was told they wanted a fax from me stating I would pay all shipping costs! I told them shipping included in price - they then arranged for clearance but 10 days later they lost the package. When replacement finally arrived I have local PC firm build system - it did not work - went to local Tiger Direct store who told me they "do not touch TigerDirect.ca systems" - suggested I send it back, get refund and they will build a good system. Called Customer Support who 'thought' it was a motherboard problem and to send it back to them. When I sent it back it was returned because it did not have original packing material. When I asked what my next step was I was told I was on my own - there was nothing they could do for me! Fortunately I contacted the motherboard manufacturer who said to return it to them directly - not having the original packing was NOT a problem.
Thanks for all the help TigerDirect.ca - I will never again buy anything from you and I suggest buyers be very careful before they consider ordering from TigerDirect.ca. They did not stand behind the products they sold and their Customer Service people were not helpful, made numerous mistakes with their information and had an attitude of could-not-care-less!!"

"Tiger Direct sent me a product that should not have been shipped. Apparently some final step was not completed, and I could not format it, or get any information to write to the external hard drive. I called Tiger and they washed their hands clean and said it was up to me to contact the manufacturer. That is where Tiger dropped the ball in my books. They should have been the ones to do this leg work, or better yet, send me a replacement immediately.
So it was after a great deal time & effort on my part to actually contact the right company and person to get some help on how to fix this, which was not easy."
