"It's been a while since I shopped at tigerdirect because I moved to downtown TO, but last week I needed some parts that I couldn't get by walking into a store. I wanted 2GB cf cards which are a bit legacy now, and tiger had two brands. It was all just like coming home, until I tried to use the paypal option in the checkout. It didn't retrieve my address properly, and when I submitted my order it was going to be shipped off to some old address I'd used to order from TD back in the day. The new check out page is also a bit of a mess if you are a blind screen reader user like I am. It works, but it could be a lot better. Fortunately the customer service hasn't slipped. I got a person in less than 5 minutes, the order was cancelled, and I replaced the order using a credit card. It would be nice to have this paypal thing better integrated and the checkout form cleaned up, but I'm happy to see that basically it's still the same old tiger direct that I've known and loved for 6 or 8 years now."

"I ordered a refurb. computer on the advice of my friend, who had recommended Tiger Direct for a previous purchase, made a few months ago. The computer arrived within a week, it was packed well, looked good, and so far it works great. I am in process of learning all it can do for me. This machine will do so much more than my current computer and the price was great! However the leather computer case I ordered was too small for my needs. The case zippered only on the top and it was ackward to get the computer in and out of it. "

"Hitachi 250gb hard drive. Runs great on my HP. Hooked up to front usb on my other comp and could hear faint clicking. Haven't tried rear usb just went back to HP and works fine. Great little drive for transport. Nothings for cons, just think I had a power issue. Would buy this one again, seems great!"

"I am pleased with my new iHome iP9BRC clock radio. The sound is actually quite good, and it is fairly intuitive to program. I am still working out some of the quirks and figuring out how to make the alarms come from the source I expect. The unit is larger than other clock radios I've had, but is still an acceptable size for my night stand. There appears to be an insert for my iphone3G which is different than my ipod, which may be a pain if I have to keep putting in and taking out the insert all the time. I am happy with the quality, and the service I received. The confirmations and Tracking were available quickly. I was a little disappointed in the longer than usual shipping time of more than one week to arrive, as other orders I've made with them have come very quickly. I might be willing to blame it on Labor Day delaying it somewhat. I will certainly order from them again, and expect I will get my products with the usual delay of only a few days. "

"I highly recommend TigerDirect as far as fast accurate shipping. The bundle I purchased with the netbook had two defective items; first was the Nero 8 software CD which came with the external DVD burner. It has a corrupt registry and would not install. Second was the 4-port USB hub which would not work at all. I am not going to return them as you have to return the entire bundle. The shipping would be too expensive to bother. Anyhow, the Asus Netbook is great, so I'm pretty pleased overall."
