"I 'd been looking for a certain printer our firm had found to be reliable, but everyone seemed to be out of that model - I found it on Tiger Direct at a decent price - $169. So far so good. Then, when I got the confirmation, realized I'd entered the wrong zip code. I had signed up for an account, so I figured I could change it there since I'd just placed the order - but no, there was no way for me to do it myself. So I contacted a customer rep through the chat service, figuring they would have to do it. She explained that the only way to correct my zip code error was the cancel the order! She also explained that it was on back order and that it would be a couple of weeks before it arrived. It was not a rush, so I decided that would work. So she canceled the order for me (that was good!). Then, I went back to the website to place an order for another one, and it said "Out of stock!" Turned out to be a good thing as I'd thought their price was the cheapest, but I made one last search and found the same model for $149, which I got next day from Staples."

"This experience with TigerDirect was the first time I found them to be a problem. When I called because there was no Microsoft product key on the computer as the quick installation guide said. I was referred to another number. I called that number and was told to give them the serial number of the machine. I waited 10 minutes then for someone to get back on the line so that I could give them the serial number which was right there when I called. There was no response. So I hung up and called TigerDirect back asking for a full refund on my purchase. I am now waiting for the refund label to be provided."

"I purchased a refurbished HDMI monitor. The monitor was in a box too big for in and was only wrapped with one layer of bubble wrap. You could hear it sliding around the box before opening it. There was about 2" of clearance between 5he top of the bubble wrap and he top of the box allowing plenty of room to jostle around during shipping. At least it worked when it arrived."
