Just like before, "Your order is on hold" then "Your order has been cancelled due to lack of product". Really, same BS as before. They probably never had the product but this gave them a means of tying up your refund for 30-90 days then spam the hell out of you.

"I clicked on an add for a refurbished HP micro computer with a 500 GB SSS hard drive and 16 MB ram for $239.99. I took a screen shot, sent to my computer friend to evaluate. Within 15 hours after receiving his approval, I copied and pasted the address from my screen shot into the Tiger Direct search line. It came up with only one selection with the same part number. I ordered it using my Visa Credit card. When the confirmation came up I printed it out. Since the print was so small, I got back on line and read my receipt. It was the same computer, but it had 8 GB of ram, and a 256 SSD hard drive, half sizes of what I ordered.
I called the Tiger Direct phone, after hours on a Saturday, 6:15 PM Pacific time. I was told about the working hours (recorded message), I must await until Monday morning.
I then spent 45 minutes in the chat room trying to explain the problem with out success with a computer. I tried to use print screen to record my complaint, but only the inquiry questions were recorded, not my complaints?
On Monday Morning I called and after 30 minutes of pushing numbers I received a live person. This account executive said I would have to wait until I received the computer from UPS, I should send it back. I then threatened with reporting it to my credit card company placing a hold on payment. That did not work, so I said I would report to FTC. I still was getting the talk around. I then said I would not hang up until receiving a confirmation e-mail from this person confirming my call, and his proposals to resolve the problem. I took 15 minutes, but I received one. I then received a cancellation notice a day later.

"I ordered an External Hard Drive from TigerDirect and it could not be delivered in a timely manner. After countless contacts, I had the order cancelled and confirmed online that that indeed was the status. The item got shipped anyway and I could not get the item stopped. Before delivery, I contacted the seller and asked for an RMA in order to get a quick return. I was told they could not do that but to deny the delivery. I kept denying delivery with FEDEX but after the third time it was dropped off without any interaction that I could provide. I then called TIGERDIRECT and asked for a RMA and that was three days ago. I explained to the rep it was due to their error to begin with but it was talking to a stone wall. Still waiting for a RMA that should have been provided earlier. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE."
