"I buy a lot of tires with 5 vehicles, 2 motorcycles and 2 trailers in my household. I've learned to do a lot of research on where I buy them from because tires can get expensive fast and can be hard to find. I found some harder to find ones very quickly with Tirebuyer.com and was impressed with turn around time as I received them very quickly. The tires were exactly as described and the whole process was easy. I highly recommend tirebuyer.com for all of your tires. I know I will continue to use them as my need is constant. "
“Great to hear! Thanks for taking the time to review us. Hope to see you again soon. ”
"Ordered some 205/50r15 Nitto Neo Gens for my 1993 Mazda Miata. Tirebuyer had the tires on sale and free shipping so I couldn’t say no. After I placed my order the tires literally arrived in a day’s time. Super fast. Couldn’t ask for an easier experience and will order again. "
“Great news! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. ”
"Was easy enough to find what I was looking for and was really pleased to find a promo code (shown on the site) to save a few extra $$$. Had a bit of an issue with the tire appointment but customer service helped iron out the issue with the shop and compensated me for the screw up. "
"Bought tires. Was out of town for a bit. We don't drive out truck much. They couldn't be balanced. Paid to have them balanced at 2 additional places. Contacted cs. First Said they would refund it. Then said they could only refund 2. Then stopped replying. It was now too late to do anything "
"I noticed AMEX had a 8% rebate on a purchase from Tirebuyer. I have been a customer of TireRack since 1985, but I decided to give Tirebuyer a shot on winter tires. Their online site was easy to use, found in-stock Pirellis (the only winters that were not out of stock), choose Spiffy as an installer, and paid. Received an email acknowledgement. It was two days before the install date with nothing from Tirebuyer or Spiffy. I started a chat session with Tirebuyer, after 15 minutes I was told that my order was canceled. The chat rep never answered my follow-up questions, so I decided to call them. It was an overseas rep, and she could not explain why the tires became out of stock when their site still had them in stock. Something about "not being responsible with inventory." Fine, never going to use them again... I did get call from Spiffy the next day, and had to tell them the situation. "Simone" needed to get with their stateside Tirebuyer rep and promised to give me a call back. No surprise, I never got that call back."
"I bought 4 tires and waited for 3 weeks, went to the auto shop, they told me they don't have the tires and I will get a refund after 5 business days. I placed a second order, after hours online process, calling many times to the customer service people. I was cancelled again. I am so shocked that this is still a business. It's a scam to me. They cancel your order without noticing you. "
"Shame on me for not reading reviews of this outfit. TireBuyer promised delivery and installation but was late with delivery. After FED-X indicated the tires ere delivered, I tried to contact the Installer, Furr's Tire in Dover, DE, but they refused to have any conversation about whether the tires were there or when I could come in for installation. They told me to talk to TireBuyer. When I couldn't get help from the TireBuyer contact phone number, I cancelled the order. I was told they would pick up the tires and issue a refund in days. Two weeks later, when I called, I was told they would try to find out where the tires were. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they hung up on me. When I called back and waited, they told me the supervisor phone number was disconnected. Stay away from TireBuyer!
"
"If I could check every box of why I am unhappy with tire buyer, I would. Misquoted prices, charged my order when the tires were installed, then voided the charged, and decided to then charge it again 3 weeks AFTER THE TIRES HAD BEEN INSTALLED, after I thought they had already been charged, and moved finances around to accommodate those charges.
I was never alerted that my tires were due for install on the scheduled date. I had to start calling back and forth between tire buyer, and my installer. My installer actually was trash talking tire buyer to me in the phone! I thought they were wrong at first, but they were spot on.
Was promised a refund for the misrepresented costs of the install. Took them weeks to lock that down. Still haven’t seen it. Apparently it’s on my banks end (chase, a debit card). This is 3 weeks later.
In short, the whole experience has made me feel like I’m taking crazy pills. So if you’re into that, order from tire buyer. However I’d recommend you spend the extra few bucks, and just go to americas tire. You’ll pay more, but the stress you’ll save yourself will probably give you a few extra years of life.
This has literally been the worst shopping experience I have had in my 40 years of living life on earth. My hope is that it can only go up from here, and I’ll never have to be in these kind of trenches again. INSANE. "
"Purchased 4 M/T tires for my F250 Super Duty on Thurs the 18th, had them installed on Mon the 22nd ...
15% Discount for letting them set up the installation = great price on the tires & best price on the local install.
I do wish their website worked better, but since the new tires are on my truck in just 4 days ----> "all's well that ends well" !!!
Will certainly purchase from TireBuyer.com again ..."
"Bought a set of 4 wheels and they were delivered via Fedex the next day, I got them before I even received the shipment email from tirebuyer, haha. Helps that I live 30 mins away from the wheel distributor.
I was initially leery on ordering from tirebuyer based on all the negative reviews, but my experience was positive overall. I think a lot of the problems stem from lack of stock due to the pandemic, and tirebuyer's own stock check system which seems inaccurate as it looks like it pulls information from all sorts of distributors. "
"I ordered my tire last Thursday night at 11pm. It's Monday at 9pm and they STILL haven't shipped. I called my card and am cancelling the transaction because I've read they are even slow about refunding your money. Plus the guy lied to me on the phone saying they have been shipped. ONLY a label has been created! Their trying to tell me that fed ex has to update their website. That's bull! A email says the same. And it's only 75iles from me where it's shipping from. Don't buy from these people! Beware! "
"Very misleading website on all levels. All correspondence comes from the opposite side of the world and filled with inconsistencies.
I bought four tires from them they say they have delivered all 4 to my local installer but the installer says they only have two. This is my work truck and at this point it’s costing me even more money. "
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! There are many honest companies online that you can purchase tires at good prices. This is not one of those places. Tirebuyer.com is HORRIBLE!!!! "
A rep from Tirebuyer.com, TirebuyerTeam, has responded:
“I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations. I've just dropped you a DM to see if there's anything we can do to help. ”
