They sent me an email, do you need help with your order, call us. No phone number on the email. They do not care what problems their blunders cause. Customer service is lazy. Avoid them"
"I would give them a negative 5 rating if I could! Had immediate problems with the tires after install. The tires bounced and felt like they were floating at freeway speeds. The local shop setup through Tirebuyer.com said the tires were faulty. It was a nightmare working with Tirebuyer.com to get a fix. After multiple failed promises to fix the issue, I had to purchase tires from another company. Even though they said in writing they would credit me the money back, I am still fighting to get my money back after 6 weeks! Run from this company!!!! Don't give them a dime."
"I just finished placing an order, scheduled the install, etc. and then a couple hours later I get an email that they’ve canceled my order. No explanation for why or anything about how they plan to refund my payment.

"I have a warranty for tires that I bought, one of them was punctured and covered by said warranty. I was told the tires were now discontinued and that I could buy new tires. To get a refund for the damaged tire I would have to send paperwork and tire back to their facility for review which would take up to 45 days but it may be sooner since it was just a puncture. It's been well over 45 days and several emails asking for status with no response. This is absolutely ridiculous when it was covered and a simple puncture that couldn't be repaired. My husband didn't have this issue with his warranty at Discount Tire. He offered to send pictures when he had tire damage and they said no need and sent a replacement tire within a few days. No hassle or hunting them down for a refund, replacement or status. Tire Buyer could learn something from Discount Tire's customer service."
"Nitto tires were cracking and separating tread from core. Tire Buyer denied any warranty assistance, stating that I would have to wait until the tires had larger cracks (several were 1/4" wide by 1"+). Bottom line, they were too lazy to process my warranty through Nitto! No need to use these online tire companies any longer, the major tire company's have price fixed everything so the tires tend to price out the same online vs in stores. You may get better warranty service with a local tire shop, you couldn't get worse than Tire Buyer!! Do Not Recommend!"
"Went to a major name tire store to have them match the price of TBC for 4 Toyo Open Country AT III. The assistant sales manager said they would match the price but would need to order the tires. A few days went by and I called about the tires only to learn the tires were on back order for 60 days. I had my doubts about the back order. I think they did not want to match the price. Order the tires on Thursday from TBC and received them on Friday. TBC's order and tracking service is great.
Word of caution about using one of their named installers. Made an appointment with one of their national installers. An hour after bringing the car in I was approached by the service manager. I thought the service was completed but was told their tire equipment was too small to install the truck tires. It took them an hour to figure this out?! I waited another 20 minutes to have the old tires remounted."
"Tire purchase was easy & delivery was fast. Installation was a little more cumbersome. The installer I chose initially did not want to honor the price quoted on the Tirebuyer.com site, but after some consternation and review of the printed invoice that I supplied to him showing his quoted price, he agreed to accept it. Be sure to bring your installation quote with you to avoid being charged more. Otherwise the installer did a good job, and it was prompt."
"I always look for "best bang for the buck" on everything ...... I do my research intensively. I've searched the web for tires by several online suppliers, tire rack (my last supplier) , costco among others. BUT, TireBuyer impressed me the most not only due to their impressive very competitive pricing, but their website is very informative. One of their suggested repair shops for installation, in my area, was helpful and one of several I researched that got me a great price break for me on installation & quality of service (PepBoys $15-$16 per tire for everything). Several others were at $25 per tire plus disposal cost ...... really? You should never pay that much. I ordered my tires thru TireBuyer on a Monday morning and they were delivered to PepBoys the next day and i was driving on new tires by mid-afternoon that same day. My biggest impression is the price of the quality tires (Cooper CS5's) and their ease and quickness of delivery. You know Tire-Rack was like this when they started out, but they've gotten too popular, too big and they have raised their prices and seem to be a little greedy now. "To start I would say that I have used tirebuyer many times in the past and have ended up being very satisfied. The Tires have always been manufactured within the past 12 months which I count as excellent and up to now the shipping has been in a timely fashion. I ordered four tires and two showed up so I reached out to tirebuyer and they said that yes a mistake was made on their end and only two tires left the warehouse and they would have two more shipped out for me. GREAT except I'm installing them myself and have things set up ready to go wheels off and all. They cannot or will not upgrade the shipping to get the tires to me next day. So now I have to wait another 3 days. It happens and I get it but it is a major disruption to work flow. And to boot I live in the same city the warehouse they're shipping from is in. They even offered to pay for a return and refund my money which is not even close to what would satisfy me. I like the tires, I love the price but they do me no good if I can't schedule installing them. Please use tirebuyer but for whoever within the company reads these reviews consider Express shipping tires to a paying customer when the company is at fault for a delayed delivery. "
"Bought four tires from them. Put them on the car. Call months down the road to complain that despite the tires being rotated as is called for and my car being in alignment the tires are wearing abnormally.
Call them and they tell me my warranty starts from the day I ORDERED them and NOT either the day they are delivered to the shop or the day installed.
Then they want me to pay to order replacements, ship the old back to them and then MAYBE get refunded for replacements.
Why would I want to replace with tires from a company that is dishonest?

"Took four days from purchase to delivery. The local shop did indeed follow the tire buyer contracted pricing which was under $89 total for 4 tires mounted and balanced out the door. The tires themselves were an amazing deal! Saved between $29-$79 a piece from what other sites and local installers were charging for the same winter tires. I rarely leave reviews (especially good ones) but I had to share since there are some very negative reviews online. Will definitely use them again!"
"My only problem is that my 35" tires were sent to a shop that can only balance up to 33". Not really sure whose to blame. End up costing me more money and time to get them mounted, balanced, and installed. "
