"I don't really feel good about the four star rating, but ultmately I got a refund for my defective product, and was allowed to keep it. The controller is good. The frame is usable, and the motors all work, so I may purchase a replacement motherboard or just keep it for parts.
The reason I think four stars may be too much is because I really believe that the first two emails that I sent them only generated an automated response, and nobody actually read them. The questions asked didn't pertain to my issue. They wanted a picture of the problem even though a picture would have added no clarification to the issue. They then sent another email with four steps of troubleshooting I explained in the first two emails what I had done to troubleshoot the issue and come to the conclusion, which was actually more detailed than the steps they suggested I follow in their second automated response.
When I responded to them the third time, I used the context and form of their email with the opening sentence stating that I was honored that they were trying to help me, and I apologized for not clearly stating the issue so that they could come to a solution.
They responded to this email with the offer to refund or replace the item.
I almost wonder if that response was automated also, and if a customer takes the time to play the email game three times, a refund will be offered.
Anyway - I've been notified that my refund was processed and All's well that ends well. "

"After my initial order, a well made five litre military style gasoline container, went smoothly, I placed two additional orders. I was contacted by a tmart rep asking for me to send to them copies of my credit card, driver's license and passport. Of course I refused and they cancelled both of the other orders that I had made. Seemed like the worst sort of scam to me. I have been ordering from the internet for over twenty years and have never been asked to send such personal and private information. Of course I do not have any way of knowing if this behavior is company policy or just a rogue employee but it certainly turned me away."
