"The original order experience was great plus reading mostly positive reviews served to create a misleading trustworthy situation.
The part was a Cummins/Onan generator PCB. This part arrived with the main board mounted connector broken but the packaging was perfectly intact. This part was ordered late on Friday for overnight shipment on Monday and arrival by Tuesday morning. Total amount of order including shipping close to $600.
Contacted Customer Service by phone as the "easy returns" link is a joke! The CSR said that the carrier would pick up the part in 3-5 business days and determine if the part was damaged in transport. Following this ToolsID would make a determination about refunding my money. No RMA was provided and ZERO information in writing given, even though I stated this was not a shipping damage issue. Of course then I had to be put on hold for several minutes and then told the same thing as before. Today I received an email stating that someone would be picking up the part in 3-5 days. No mention of a refund or a RMA! If they think I am just going to hand this item to anyone without any paperwork they are sorely mistaken.
I have contacted the offices of Ms. Ashley Moody, Florida's Attorney General, with this information as well as my Credit Card company as this entire transaction seems fraudulent to me. Makes me wonder how 90% of these reviews can be positive? I would have given them ZERO stars but the original CSR was really outstanding. Too bad the rest of the company isn't up to par!"
"Part ordered was shipped in correct box and manual, but the part inside was wrong. Returning part has been less than satisfactory. First, "click here for easy return" just to have me create an account. I don't need or want an account, which is why I chose "guest" to purchase. Then its "tell us why you need to return" then its "send us a pic" then its "currently working on your return authorization. Please allow us additional 24-48 business hours to generate this paperwork. As soon as it is available it will be sent to you via email. Please allow 2-3 additional business days to receive your return information."
Nothing easy about it. Keep your coupon. Then again, create another dang account just to post a complaint? Garbage. Enjoy spamming my trash yahoo email account. "
