"Purchased a saw thru TOOL UP off Amazon. The saw had 2 defects. The instructions for return from Tool up say,
1. We recommend and use FED Ex. (I sent the saw back via FED EX).
2. 30 day satisfaction Guarantee (Saw was sent back well within the 30 days)
3. This is the big one, "The customer is responsible for return freight UNLESS the item is damaged in shipping or defective upon receipt." (This was the case) I sent these instructions to TOOL UP to remind them of their own policy and was ultimately ignored.
So, I received a defective saw, sent it back per their instructions, paid 228.15 to send it back to them, and they are saying they don't refund "return freight." I get the privilege of buying something that arrived damaged, followed their instructions for the return, and I'm out 228.15. TOOL UP is to be avoided. They do not do what they say they'll do AND it's all in writing. "

I received a factory sealed 20v Dewalt 22oz dual tube adhesive gun that was defective. Being a factory sealed box there is no way Toolup had any fault in my receiving a bad piece of equipment. But regardless they stepped up, solved the problem and made it right.
This was my first order with Toolup, and even though it went wrong, the way they handled it gives me confidence to deal with them again next time."
