Shame on you Touchboards!

"I was looking at a whiteboard at 2 different places. Touchboards had the least expensive price. The other place wasn't bad but more expensive, their sale would end that day. On the Touchboard website, it said shipping would be $27.85. I ordered online and talked to a very nice agent, and he agreed with the shipping cost and put in the order. I called back with a question and talked to a different person who also agreed on the price of shipping. I get a call 2 days later saying they made a mistake, and the shipping would cost $142.32. A $114.47 difference. I had already put the order in, the original amount was already pending in my credit card. I told them that was wrong, and they should honor the first agreement. They refused! At this point, I had lost the good sale price at the second place. If not honoring their original price/order they should have at least given me some kind of a discount for their mistake, made up for the discount I lost at the second place! Shame on you Touchboards! One more thing, the manager I talked to tried to blame the agents I talked to on the phone and this was not their fault!"

Great Customer Service

"I ordered a cart that was lockable and had a slide out for a laptop. When I received it it was missing one of the cartons. I called them up and they were very courteous and apologetic. They told me they'd look into it and get back with me. Guess what, they did!!! That alone is worth the praise but they went a step further and had the correct carton sent and all is good. Thank you for showing there are still companies who understand what customer service is. "

In stock items

"Ordered an "In stock" item that did not ship out. They say it was out of stock and will ship out when they have it back in stock. Been waiting for almost a month. Gave a run around and I am still waiting for it to come back in stock. If I known, would have bought it somewhere else. Would not recommend ordering from them. My first time and last."

“I am sorry you have not had a good experience; I may be missing some information so please let me know if there are more communications that took place. I am only aware of one email from December 30th. We replied the same day to your inquiry indicating we needed to ship from existing stock to a warehouse that could ship this international. I have submitted your order to post without the cost of shipping to you. We have not charged your credit card yet, but you should not see a charge for the shipping. I anticipate the tracking will be uploaded today; however, you have selected USPSP1 for your method which at times takes longer to update in the system from the USPS.
Upon checking with our web team, this item was last listed in stock in September of last year. We do indicate on the site the number of units available in red. Either you saw stock on another model or presumed it was in stock on the page as we only display the quantity of stock we have, If an item is not in stock we would not display a number.
December has added increased challenges with shipping altogether. The increased holiday shipping and shortages of staff have caused many delays that we could not control. We are sorry we have not been able to deliver already but hope that you will give us another opportunity to earn your business. We hope you have a great New Year and thank you for your business.

Webcam

"I ordered my webcam off of a quote I received from Touchboards. They shipped out right away and I got my tracking number sent directly to my email. Package arrived 2 days later at my mailbox with no dents or damage to the box. Webcam works great and I use it on all my zoom meetings. "

No Contact with Staff, Easy System to Follow

"Never had any contact with the staff but all of the online tools were easy to pull up like tracking and invoices. Found tracking easily by logging in and consistent e-mails. Pulled up invoices with ease, each one is next to each line item in the order under my account's order history. Couldn't have been easier to find all appropriate info."

Lies and more lies

"Tuesday: I called TB to verify that they had the item in-stock and they informed me that not only did they have it in stock, that since it was early in the morning it would ship out the same day and I could either call later in the day or the next day to get the tracking number.

Wednesday: I called the next morning, and the "song and dance" started.... "oh, well we don't actually have it in our own stock, its at the distributor's location and they are the ones who ship it out, and it doesn't look like THEY have shipped it yet, but I see it is in the shipping department waiting to be picked up today, so it will definitely go out today, and you can get the tracking number tomorrow.

Thursday: I informed the customer service representative that I didn't need to hear another story about why they have not shipped my product, so unless they had a tracking number for me, to just cancel the order. Of course, they had another song and dance about why it was not shipped, so I just cancelled and ordered from Amazon like I was originally going to do, but I actually thought TB was not lying when they said they had it in stock and it would ship the same day.

Never again !! Beware of this company !

“We appreciate the feedback and are sorry you didn't get a great experience. My name is Brian Moran, I manage the call center and this is our fault, for that I am sorry. Please understand that none of the information you were given was in deceit. We did not do a good job of communicating to you what was happening. We did have these in stock when you placed your order. We sent the order to the warehouse to be shipped only to be informed that the 4 we had in stock were damaged. Our systems were updated to get a new item from the manufacturer but the agents you spoke with did not investigate why there was a change and only shared with you the current situation. We can do better than this and will use this example to teach our staff to explain what is happening. I hope you will give us another opportunity. ”

“We are sorry you had this experience with the delivery. For this reason, we encourage our customers to get signature required. We do our best to help resolve claims if packages are lost or stolen once delivered but without the signature, we cannot get proof of delivery. When I checked the tracking history there was a note on the web site stating you signed for the package. It was not until we spoke that I was able to determine what took place and help replace the missing package. I hope in the end you are a happy customer. Thank you for thinking of us and helping us make it right. ”

Great for Online Teaching

Great Service

"Ordered a Ergotron LX monitor stand, mouse holder and a monitor handle. Accidentally ordered the wall mount version instead of the deskmount. Was shipping it to Singapore using BorderFree and realised it only two days after I had ordered it. Touchboards and Borderfree stopped shipment just in the nick of time and sent me the revised order. Saved me a ton of money. Thank you guys.

The products arrived in time and work great. No complaints with the Ergotron stuff.

"Feel good about spending your money w these guys! I was for sure this was another scam that’d PayPal would end up refunding. But they actually sent me an item that’s one of a kind, very rare, and at a really low price! I’d been looking for a specific 3D-RF emitter for at least a few years. Top notch service

"Had bit of a hiccup with our order as one of the items hadn't shipped despite a packing slip indicating that it had. I spoke with Jonathan Dolan at Touchboards and he took the entire fix upon himself including reaching out to the manufacturer directly to speed up the normal paperwork process. The item was shipped promptly, and he kept me in the loop in the interim with frequent calls to update me on status. I couldn't be more pleased.

The irony is it turned out to be my fault. I had set aside the small box when unpacking freight and discovered it weeks later. It's great to know that Touchboards had my back, and I would highly recommend them.
