DO NOT SELL ON TRADESY

"DO NOT SELL ON TRADESY > This company is full of crap. A customer stated she received my package without her contents in it, now this is the 2nd tome this happened to her when purchasing off this site, which make no sense at all that she is still allowed to buy. Now all her messages to me her timeline was off with receiving the package etc. Now all of a sudden my account is suspended and I cant get any information on where my item is that I sold to this customer its real funny once I explained her timeline and the things she stated to me in a message now my account is suspended so this is how you all treat your sellers suspend their account when they know whats going on is wrong and someone is trying to keep my item and im not getting paid for it. Im going to complain on all social sites, BBB, yelp etc because y'all are trying to covert fact that your customer is a lie."

Mafia payment policy for sellers

"Stay away if you are a seller. Their commissions are extremely high, they take 21 days to put the the money in your Tradesy account and if you want to transfer to your credit/debit card takes another 7+ business days plus you have to pay 2.9% "processing fee". Processing fee? My bank charges $25 to do a same day transfer to any account in the US for any amount. They take 7 days and charge you a fee. My fee came to $37 which is robbery. Why a percentage? Why not a flat fee?

I sold a Hermes bag on June 6, 2018, the buyer received the bag on June 11. They deposited the funds in my Tradesy account on July 2 and I am still waiting for the funds to be transferred to my debit card. Today is July 14, 2018. So, for more than a month they have the buyers $1,596 and have not given me my $1,246.87.

I am looking at other reviews and noticed the ridiculous explanation from Tradesy2. What a lot of BS! They say that because of recent stolen identity incidents they need 7+ business days to transfer funds to sellers. First, merchants are not responsible for fraudulent transactions if they follow card processing procedures. If Tradesy obtains an approval code when the buyer makes the purchase they are OK. For sure after 21 days they should know if the transaction was not approved. Secondly, banks are great at flagging fraudulent transactions within seconds. They have fraud models that look for out-of-pattern purchasing behaviors for millions of transactions at the same time. Finally, what seller is going to use a stolen card number to put money into it? What are they protecting with the 7+ waiting period?

I have called twice and although the reps are polite they can't do anything but play back to you their policy. By the way, the policy is only in the FAQs and is not clear when you put items for sale.

This is a rip-off for sellers, they are using the money to fund their business on the backs of sellers. Think twice before you put anything for sale here there are other better alternatives.

Who Knew?

"Well, not me. I've been looking for a place to search for favorite but discontinued style of Brighton purses for a good long time.
Suddenly, I found a link to Tradesy! How good can it be? I t's been less than a week and I not only have my purse, as described, totally stoked...BUT I am ordering again. I love the ease of use, the photos, the descriptions, and the detailed sale requirements. It's all you need to know to make a secure decision. mismanagement of funds to sellers

"I have been a trades seller for 4 years and in the last 2 years they have become irresponsible with there sellers funds. they hold funds for weeks at a time and when its time to transfer funds they hold for more weeks after charging the seller a so-called secure transfer fee. I really loved this company in the beginning and I'm really sad to see how they treat the heart of the company (sellers) in this way. "

Order canceled by Tradsey!

"I order and paid for a pair of Valentino Rock studs. Tradsey sent an email stating they were being prepared for shipment. Then , shortly thereafter, I received an email from PayPal stating I had been issued a full refund from Tradsey. When I checked the status of my order, it was listed as canceled.” No warning or explanation from Tradsey! And, I certainly didn’t cancel the order. Terrible way to do business. I will shop elsewhere."

Do not buy from this company

"I thought I bought a watch from
Someone, the loan was opened the seller tells me he cancelled the item, it was damaged. Fine. I check my bank account and he billed me! I had to go through Affirm to get my money back and they shorted my refund by $30 claiming I owed "interest"! Interest in an item I NEVER GOT!!! They are shady do not use them!
