"I listed for sale my David Yurman Figaro necklace. Someone purchased it and it was later returned to me for inauthenticity. I bought the necklace in a David Yurman store and although the DY was very faint on the 18 karat gold toggle, Tradesy is saying that it is not authentic. I will not be doing any business with your company any longer and will be leaving similar reviews. "
"Buyers can return an item to Sellers for any reason, i.e.doesn't fit, don't like it, etc.
*************
Personally, as a Seller, that puts me at a huge disadvantage because I ship items via Fedex, which incurs fees between $15 - $30 for each shipment. To my mind, this is Buyer's Remorse with no recourse for the Seller. But what's duplicitous is Tradesy returns the item back to the Seller with the most egregious reasons why the Buyer can return it. Buyers don't get their money back... oh no; they must use it as store credit on Tradesy. So Tradesy profits from both Buyer/Seller and with its price-gauging fee increases even though it has an encumbered SEO.

Here's the email I just received 11/10/17 @ 7:08 p.m.

Your item is being returned to you. Your sold item Christian Louboutin CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN ROLANDO 12 42 Pumps was recently returned by the buyer.
Tradesy conducts a multi-step inspection process for all returns - no matter the return reason.During our inspection, we found the item to be misrepresented for the following reasons: * Item should be listed as 'Gently Used' * Slight scuffing on side patent is not mentioned
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $400.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I didn't like: Buyer is not protected, How sellers are treated, Site credits only.
Incontrovertible evidence can be found at the bottom of any listing. Actionable, for sure."
"Purchased from Abby R...awesome bag in fabulous condition!!! Prompt delivery!! She was great at replying to messages:) would definitely purchase from her again!!!"
"If I could give them a zero star, I would. This website is terrible! They take 21-30 days to pay you, anything you sell they return (based off buyers judgment even if they lie), they never investigate issues, and they will remove items from your closet without any notice! You will do all the work to put up a listing, then “wa la” its gone! No notice, no notification, nothing! Highly disappointing site to use! Stay far far far away!"
"I am happy with my purchase. Fast, easy, and high quality of products."
"I just ordered the Kooba Gwenyth Satchel from HavaSue's Closet for $314.00. This is supposed to be a fine leather handbag and was new. It's new alright freshly wrapped from a knock off site in cellophane. The leather is hard. After researching how to determine whether your bag is a fake, I have learned this does not pass the test. I can't verify it is even leather. I have seen knock offs before and this is right there. The tagging properties aren't in line with the Kooba company. The top zipper is very stiff. There are 3...mass produced authenticity cards in the zippered compartment inside the bag. No little envelopes, nothing but cheap business card quality cards. I will be returning. "
"do not buy anything from them ,you will get rop from them , no money back, very bad company youknow"
"I just love the way the site is organized and works. I can see the merchandise and send a message to the seller so quickly. So far all items have exceeded my expectations and have arrived in great packaging. I am now a return user and see Tradesy as being the downfall of my wallet this holiday, too!"
"I sold a Coach purse on their website, and after two and a half weeks, have yet to receive my earnings. Dishonest company!!! Filing a lawsuit against them to retrieve the money owed to me."
"Some coworkers and i used to have swap days when we would purge our closets and all swap items we no longer wanted. Tradesy is like that on a larger scale. Great idea! So professional! Add a mens line if you can. I loved my introduction ,and will absolutely be a regular shopper and maybe even sell one day. I have been telling everyone about it. Thank you. Much love."
"I was a first time seller and sold a pair of shoes. It said I would be paid within 21 days and by day 24 I had to contact customer service to see where the money was. I got the runaround for a little while and then they gave me the money. Which I then had to have transferred to my PayPal. When that didn't go through in the time they said it would, I had to contact customer service again. Which I spoke to somebody by the name of Rachel D. I was shocked at how immature and unprofessional she was. She misunderstood some things that I said and took it as a personal attack on her and wrote me back as if I was talking to a girl in high school. I don't know how a company can run with a person like that being in customer service. I will never sell on that site again. They were horrible. My money is still being delayed. And the customer service is not customer service. Somebody should tell her that she's not in high school anymore. There's a way to be professional when you're at work. She obviously needs more training. "
"I had to reorder due to my credit not being applied from a previous purchase . I was glad my item was still available"
"Looking for a handbag for my daughter--found a great Michael Kors bag for a more than reasonable price. She will love it."
"Had issues on two purchases. Canned email response. Bought over $10K with them in the past 16 months and they really don't care about responding. Their prices are 20% higher than eBay bc sellers price items on both sites and I see that clearly they charge more for listings. I bought a $1200 bag and complained about the seller and they did nothing at all. Never contacted me, never investigated. Never said a word. Be weary. I think they should at least respond if you tell them something is amiss with a $1300 bag. The buy was so worried about sending the bag on my fedex account and cancelled the transaction. MEHHHH. I contacted Tradesy and they did NoTHING to help, compensate, mediate or support. Also last December I bought a tiffany diamond by the yard bracelet and asked the seller several times for eta and tracking info. Reached out to you all and your response was very delayed and basically we are checking with the seller too. Very reluctant to ever endorse them unless I can truly vet the item myself or see that they are a trusted seller (which is rarely an option) Most of the time I just have to investigate the item myself which eBay, real real, vestaire, bluefly, or keeks does for you!"
"I always know what to expect! Thank you!"
