"Started out loving Tradesy - but they are growing in the wrong direction. They claim I "repeatedly" listed items not allowed - but they never before have warned or contacted me. I might have had about 20 items of my 500 that weren't women's clothes - but nowhere on their site do they even say that something like a book or a music CD isn't allowed to be posted. I am not a mind reader. And even though they do say no children's, lingerie, dust bags or men's - there are not only thousands of these items listed - but they have SOLD thousands of them too - so don't tell me they weren't aware. They took their commission and sent out the labels. So it is completely random when or why the trust department will suddenly suspend a seller's account - after you spent literally hours of your time listing things - and you will lose access to all your inventory, photos and descriptions so you can not even use them to post somewhere else. Plus you can't even log in to transfer your money out - which they now hold 3 weeks anyway for no apparent reason. It is a company that grew too fast and hired too many young, inexperienced people and they have completely lost their mission. It used to cater to people just selling a few things from around the house - at good prices just to recoup some of their value - but now It is just a mish mosh of greedy profiteers now - including large, overseas sellers. Buyers are paying twice what they would pay anywhere else and the prices are rising because Tradesy just raised its seller costs - now up to about 18% plus they also raised all their shipping costs to sellers so they are passing that onto buyers. They can't get control of the fakes being posted and are so busy trying to stop legitimate sellers from posting a few things that aren't women's clothing that they are letting the frauds take over. Bad for sellers. Worse for buyers. Another lousy online website that has no niche market anymore "

"If you're shopping from Canada, you risk wasting your money. Not only did the dress I buy arrive at my place not as it was advertised by the seller (it both had a stain on it and was not the size she said it was - she advertised it as a size 12, it came with size 9/10 on its tags) but sales to Canada are final - no exchanges or returns or refunds. So I wasted my money on a dress I can't wear. If I can save the population of Canada from wasting their time and effort and cash, the moment writing this review is worth it."
