" I had been very happy with Tradesy. My only original ( and continued) complaint was help with questions. If you email them it usually takes two days to hear back from them, and the answer is usually pretty generic, not that directed towards my specific question. And, when you call, it is not a toll free number, so you are spending your minutes or paying for a long distance call, and you are often the 9th to 12th person in a wait line to speak with customer service.
On my 12th item sold, something malfunctioned with their provided shipping label. It never scanned. So, this poor lady paid $100 for a pair of my Tory Burch sandals that she never received and I was not paid for them, though I shipped the sandals. I was in constant contact w/ Tradesy AND the buyer, letting them know there was a serious issue with no tracking showing up on the package. Each time, I had to go through the email and phone delays. Tradesy was not keeping me informed of what was going on, nor the poor buyer, who was out $100. I was the only one keeping her posted.
As of now, they have my order listed as "cancelled", and I got an email stating such ( also, telling me not to ship the item...which I've repeatedly told them was shipped two and a half weeks ago!!) The generic email did not tell me how or when I would get paid for my shoes, or how or when the lady that purchased them would get her money back! I am EXTREMELY frustrated."
"Both as a seller and a consumer, I very much enjoy my experience with Tradesy, although, the one star take-away is because I'm now only a consumer, but a very happy one at that! Tradesy now only promotes designer items, and I didn't have anything like that, so I'm no longer a seller, however, I just got a Coach Legacy Black bag, circa 1970's, in excellent condition for 35.00 dollars! The exact purse I've dreamt of since I first laid eyes on it, I couldn't be happier! So, I think of Tradesy everyday, as I strut with my new bag.
