"Order was for a Canon 90D camera that was advertised as coming with the warranty card and the LC-E6 battery charger, which is the version for the US market. Product they shipped had no warranty card and came with the LC-E6e charger with a removable power cord that is for non-US markets. Serial number can't be registered with Canon USA for warranty purposes. TriState did not respond to my email asking whether what they shipped was a gray market camera, which is obviously is.

I have no problem with a company selling gray market cameras and lenses. You see it often, and in parentheses you see something to the effect of "International Version-No Warranty." Buyer is warned and can make their own decision. What I do have a problem with is a company advertising the product with a warranty and a US market model numbers when that is not what they are selling. That's called fraud."
