"I am somewhat satisfied with TrueSupplier. I ordered a battery for Qtek 9000 and it did arrive. However, it took a long time for it to arrive, probably because TrueSupplier is located in Hong Kong and I'm in the US. Either way, what bothered me the most is that they didn't send appropriate e-mails to let me know what's going on. At first I received an e-mail that essentially said "we got your money". And then another one saying something to the extent of "we confirm that we got your money". Good. They have my money, what about the product? So I contacted them after a few days, asking what's going on, when is my battery going to be shipped? The online chat lady was friendly, however, she did leave me with a "I'll send you an e-mail when it's ready to ship" type of promise. Needless to say I never got that e-mail.
After 3 weeks or so, I was about to give up on them and request a refund, but I received a package with the battery in it. Problem solved.
So, to be fair, it was a good deal (since I didn't need the battery right away), they were able to charge my card, they tried to be helpful, they do have an online chat feature which I liked and the merchandise did arrive. The only con is again, the delay with each it arrives and the lack of status updates. If they sent more informative e-mails, making sure the customer is aware of what is going on, it would help them and their reputation a lot.
Something like: "We expect to ship your merchandise in 4-6 business days", then "Your merchandise has just shipped. We think it will arrive in a week. Here's the tracking number".
I would recommend them only if you are not in a hurry to receive your items. Otherwise, can't beat the price.
Overall, I give them a solid 3.5 out of 5."
