"Great experience. They promptly handled my internet order on Sunday afternoon. I had to call to verify my address, but they were zero pressure. I chose slowest shipping option (ground) but camera arrived early (4 days) (to Virginia)...in perfect condition exactly as promised. They called me 2 weeks later asking if everything OK. Would definitely use these guys again."

"Followed the advice below and spoke with Michael at ext 204 and man...what a great guy...professional, courteous, and NOT pushy. I ordered the Sony F717 and he asked very pleasantly would I like anything else, I said no, and he said no more about it. Did not try to push anything, and I then added a uv filter to the order and still no pushing...It was a wonderful experience. Not sure about the dissatisfied reviews below, but my is VERY SATISFIED...Super Job guys and thank you Michael. My order has not arrived...will arrive the 16th...will update then about product packaging and so on. BUt the order got out promptly...faster than I expected...
Will I do business with them again? Hey I called today and asked Michael for an extended warranty on the camera and an extra battery....Yes I would...and if the camera arrives and is what I ordered and is brand new and so on, then it will be an EMPHATIC Yes I will do business again with them...t

"This was my second purchase from US1Camera, and it did not go as smoothly as my first order. The first time, I ordered a Canon G3 by itself w/ no accessories. Received the e-mail to call them and confirm the order, which I did the next day. The guy who took my call didn't even ask me to buy any accessories, and the call lasted all of 10 seconds. :)

This time, I ordered a Sony DCR-PC101 DV camcorder and an additional battery on a Saturday, requesting Next Day Air shipping as we needed it asap for a trip. A salesman called on Sunday and convinced my dad (it was ordered in his name) to buy an additional $220 worth of accessories at a price 2-4x higher than I could have gotten elsewhere. Oh well. I should have warned him earlier.

The package was shipped on Monday and we received it Tuesday as promised. However, the extra battery that we received was not a genuine Sony batt as we had ordered, but a cheapo imitation that wouldn't even fit on the camera. Also, the case that we received was not the case that appeared on the order, but another no-name. I called their customer service dept. and asked for the right battery and case to be sent out so I could bring it on our trip, but the most that I could get was an RMA # to return the two items (I have to pay shipping) and a promise that I would get a full refund for them when they received it. Sad to say I won't be able to bring these on my trip.

US1Camera does have some of the best legitimate prices on cameras and camcorders, just watch out for the accessories! That's where they make most of their profit. I would probably order from them again if I was sticking only to the item that I wanted to get.

"At the time I researched this company here they had all positive feedback. I purchased a Nikon 5700 from them at a resonable price. Ordered 2-7-03 (Friday afternoon), shipped 2-11-03(Tuesday), received 2-14-02(Friday). Item was in retail box with all accessories including US warranty card. They did try to sell me some lens add-ons but I politely told them that I could not afford them as I had to save up just to buy the camera. No real pressure from them and overall a smooth transaction."

"Ordered a camcorder at advertised price, when I did not buy extras they told me my order was pending. Finally after a week I called and a representative told me my Credit Card had been declined. Upon calling my cc company, I found that they never even submitted a charge. This company is a complete sham and should be blacklisted."

"Ordered Fuji S602 via 800# phone. Sales person was couteous and friendly. No pressure to buy add-ons. Received billing confirmation within one hour and within 2 hours of taking the order I had received UPS tracking number. Now that's what I call fast service. Camera arrived on time as promised. "Excellent !!!
I ordered a Canon G3 online after reading the reviews. Got an email to confirm the order. Usual offers for accessories but not a hard sell or forcefull. Two days later got the tracking no. and the camera is here. Its a brand new camera with US warrenty. The only thing if they can allow to enter a different shipping address than the billing address, it would be really helpfull.
Definately come back to shop here again.

"Exactly the same experience as everybody had. Instead of ordering on the net, I just called them since I figured I would need to verify purchase anyway. Salesman was very friendly and made the purchase very hassle free. I ordered the Canon G3 with a 128M Card and EXT. Warranty for far less than the retail price of the camera.

They emailed me the tracking number as soon as it was available.

I would DEFINITELY order from this company again for sure.

"I order a Canon GL2 with next day delivery,placed order on Sunday. (I did go over usdirectsource and cameratopia so now I just want to get it). Got e-mail asking to call to confirm the order so I did. I was told that camera will arrive on Wednesday. Their sales rep offer some accesorries but did not insist on it, it was easy to refuse.On tusday I called again to make sure camera was shipped got transfered to few department and was told again that order was confirmed and they have 48 hours to ship.
Any way on Thus got a message saying that camera was shipped. and in fact i got it on friday package could be better but camcoder arrive without damage. Even so they do have some problems with shipping but deal was good so I would probably shop with them again.

"Don't order from these scheisterers! I ordered a Canon 1-Ds and two "L" lenses. The first sign of trouble was when the salesperson ("Randy") gave me the final total at the end of the conversation; the price had gone up $79.97! He babbled something about the 'computer automatically adding' an insurance and handling charge. I was uncomfortable with it, but the price on the body was good, so I went with it. Of course, I got all the song and dance about filters and insurance...

Other than that, they sounded fine on the phone, but when I got the confirmation e-mail, I noticed that there were no unique part numbers for the lenses. I don't think this company actually stocks lenses, I think they run across the road and get them from another wholesaler.

Anyway, a day after I placed the order they called and said that they couldn't get one of the lenses 'for awhile'. It was nice they called before they shipped an incomplete order, and I told them to go ahead and cancel it. Got off the phone to find the lens elsewhere, and found a better price on the lens I still had on order. Called US1camera back (talked to "Abe"), and offered to let them match the price, or I'd buy it elsewhere. They wouldn't match it, so I cancelled the order on the lens. I also asked them to delete the mystery insurance charge, which they did.

I called the next day to confirm shipping of the body, they said it was 'in processing' (even though it had already been 48 hours). She said she'd e-mail me when it went out. Five minutes later she called back and said that for this camera they REQUIRED A WIRE TRANSFER! No freakin' way in the world am I gonna wire money to anybody in NYC, let alone these crooks!

Nothing was ever said about this, and they clearly don't want to sell this camera, and I can, will, and did oblige them by cancelling the order. Must be their way of relieving themselves of the resposibility that use of a credit card involves. No way I'm going to give up that extra insurance (provided me by Visa) for an $8K camera! I now expect that what I would have received would likely have been either opened, missing parts, warranties (they guaranteed USA, one of the reasons I went with them), or something...

Don't order anything from these people if you don't feel OK about potentially getting screwed in the end. If it's only a $200 camera, maybe it's worth the flip-of-the-coin.

"I ordered a Canon GL2 from them and my experience was a mixed bag. I ordered Wednesday via online and got the notice to call the 1-888 number and my order was pending. I called and got the soft sell for the accessories which I politely declined. I was told the GL2 would go out the next day. Thursday came and went and it didn't ship. I called and was told the GL2 would ship Friday. It didn't. It did end up shipping Monday afternoon. They apologized for the delay and threw in a couple blank tapes to make up for it. I did get a great deal on the camcorder and it arrived intact and as advertised. I didn't appreciate being given the run around on the shipping though. I would probably buy from them again.
