"I was very apprehensive about ordering a plasma tv because of some of the negative reviews about delivery problems, but I took a gamble! And I am extremely pleased with the whole transaction. They shipped my tv in 2days (as promised), made a call to let me know it was shipped and to advise about receiving from the shipper, and delivery was posted on-line and a phone call. They even carried my plasma down a long driveway and into my livingroom. They waited untill I opened the tv to check that the glass wasn't broken. Just great service!! (received tv in 9 days)
I normally make my purchaces on Amazon, but for some reason they were playing games with the price of the Panasonic TCP42G25 42" 1080P PLASMA HDTV. From a low of $792 to a high of $880. And the price changed daily. Well, I did my reasearch and was ready to buy.
US Appliance had a special for the whole month for $799 plus free shipping and no sales tax. Called and they said it was in stock and would be shipped within 2 days.
I will shop with then again in the future for sure! They are now bookmarked on my computer. 5* rating from me!!

"We initially ordered a complete set of ge appliances in fall of 2009. Us appliance called to say the refrigerator was discontinued but that they would sell an upgraded one for the same price. After checking ge model numbers it became clear that the replacement fridge was the same one except without an ice and water dispenser. Hardly an upgrade. After some back and forth we cancelled the order. This august we tried again, stubborn? Stupid? This time the fridge was backordered for a month and a half so we had the rest of the order filled. The microwave came without the ordered trim kit. We called and they said we had been informed it was back ordered. Not true. Finally got the trim kit. Fridge finally arrived pretty severely damaged, customer service rep said to keep it and get some money back. Given the amount of damage we refused delivery and are currently awaiting refund. Removed old fridge prior to arrival to be ready so found like model at sears outlet in grapevine tx. Ran to the store, picked it up, but it does not work. Tech came and said it had been previosly improperly repaired. Returning it for refund now. After about a year of effort we still have not succeeded in purchasing a working fridge"
"Bought a Samsung PN63C8000 (one of the best 3D tvs at the time I am writing this).
Ordered on 9/29. Got a shipping code on 10/4 (5 days later). Got the TV on 10/7 (8 days later). The TV came undamaged in its original package. The 3D starter kit/Bluray player came in a box with more than enough packing peanuts. So far, everything looks good.
I bought another Panasonic 54" G25 (one of the best 2D TVs available) from them after I was pleased with their service. I will wrote another review when I get that one.
After reading some of the other reviews, it appears that the shipping time seems to be hit-or-miss. The shipping time probably depends on whether they have the item in stock or not."
"I could not be more satisfied with my recent purchase from US Appliance . I was a little hesitant to order after reading some reviews but decided to give them a chance since the price was right. After researching big screen televisions for several weeks, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Mitsubishi 65" DLP and I am amazed at the picture quality and the ease of setup. The order was handled very professionally and arrived in perfect condition in a little more than a week. I then ordered a Blu-Ray player and received the same result. "What a great experience!!! I never ordered from US Appliance before. I found they had the lowest price for the TV (A 60" Samsung LED TV)I was looking for, but waited a few days to place the order because of some negative reviews I read. Actually, I got my TV in perfect condition only 7 business days after I placed the order. Someone from US Appliance even called me before the delivery to tell me how to check the package before accept it. That was very nice! I usually only order stuff from Amazon, newegg, buy.com.. now I would definately check US Applicance and order from them again. Very satisfied!!! Thank you!!!"
"In short: Everything that could go wrong with the order went wrong. I read the reviews and decided to order a washer and dryer from US-Appliance, but unfortunately my experience was very negative.
I placed an order on 8/14/10. Two days later I received an e-mail that they could not charge the credit card because the address was supposedly incorrect. I called back, confirmed that the address was indeed correct, and after that the charge did go through. After a week and a half and no communication I called to find out when the order would be shipped. They said, in a few days. It took three more calls, and every time they were saying in a few days. Finally, they shipped the washer and dryer on 9/10/10 - 4 weeks (!) from the date of the initial order and it arrived on 9/14/10 - one month later.
To my disappointment, the washer did not work - it shows the error code E53 - Motor - Call Service. Of course, US-Appliance would not do anything and I had to call Frigidaire and then to the local service shop to have someone come and look at the washer. Two days later the repair person came and said that the washer needs a new motor and a new control board and that there is no guarantee that Frigidaire has this in stock since the model is new. A week later though the motor and the board came and on 9/24 the technician replaced the faulty motor and board.
The next week there was another problem - the washer did no fill enough water. The technician came again and said that the water pressure gauge is faulty and should be changed. On Cotober 15 they replaced the pressure gauge and machine seems to be finally working (so far). So, two months since my purchase I finally have a refurbished machine. Not a good deal for my money.
In sum: US-Appliance had troubles processing the credit card, knowingly provided false information about the shipping date, took one month to deliver the order, and sold me a defective product - this is simply unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint with BBB shortly.
I would not recommend purchasing anything from US-appliance - there are plenty of online retailers that are more reliable and honest."
"Good will goes a long way. Finally contacted by U.S. Applliances and worked out a fair and resonable way we can return our damaged Micro Wave oven, and be satisfied with the end result. My hat is off to them for handleing this situation fairly. Thank You "
"Got a great price on a 58" inch 3d plasma package. Items were packed very securely, no damage whatsoever. Opted for regular delivery, but the driver did wait for me to open it and he helped me put the tv on the stand. He also waited while I powered it up to confirm the tv was working. He earned his tip. :) The only downside to my experience with US Appliance was the waiting for the items to ship. It took just over two weeks from the time the order was placed and the time it was received. Looking back now thats really not too bad considering the great deal I got and the items were shipped damn near cross country to CA. I would order from US Appliance again."
"I finally received my appliances on 9/3/10. Up to that date, it was pulling teeth to get any information as to where my shipment was. They use homedirectusa.com for shipping & I had nothing but a very unpleasant experience with that company. Customer Service person was rude and had the tone that I was annoying her. Through homedirecusa's tracker I saw that my shipment actually made it to my city on 8/26/10, but no one called me to set-up the delivery appointment and I had to call US Appliance to finally get some action. I spent $9,800 with US Appliance & another $90 for "white glove" delivery. A lot of money to have no refrigerator, washer/dryer, etc. for over a month. AND dryer came damaged so I'm waiting another week (a month?) after calling them today. All this & then to deal with rude personnel? Get a new shipper US Appliance."
"Bought a 52" Sony KDL52NX800 TV. It was shipped to us in a timely manner but shortly after hooking the TV up, it stopped working. Called Sony and they came up very small by telling us the best they could do was have a local repair place send a guy out to fix the TV. They would not replace it. They said that we would have to go through US Appliance to get it replaced. Called US Appliance and they said they would not replace it and that it was Sony's responsbility. Going in a circle here as you can see. The local repair place without even looking at the TV, knew what part was needed and how to fix it. Makes me wonder if this is a common problem. Basically, I will have a refurbished TV a week into having it while paying for a new TV price. Maybe that is why US Appliance had this TV at a low price, because they knew something was wrong with their batch they got from the manufacturer? Both US Appliance and Sony have come up small in this purchase. I can't believe that I bought a nice new TV and within a few hours it stopped working. That's like buying a new car and having it break down on the drive home from the lot. Frustrating experience. I will not buy a Sony TV anymore nor will I be giving US Appliance my business anymore. I should have just bought a TV from my local Best Buy; it would have been a lot easier to handle a problem like this. "
