"I purchased a Samsung 63” plasma television (Model # PN63C7000YF) on November 29, 2010. It was delivered to my home on December 13th. When the TV arrived, the box was in good condition with no exterior signs of abuse. When I fully unpacked the TV, I found that the screen was cracked in several places. Upon closer inspection, I noted that the damaged areas corresponded directly with the position of each Styrofoam cradle/block that had held the TV in place as part of the packaging.
I worked with customer service, and after some convincing, they agreed to replace my TV. I did some research online and found that it’s not all that uncommon for large Samsung plasma TVs to encounter shipping damage. I’m very happy that US Appliance is making sure that I get an undamaged unit.
I feel comfortable recommending US Appliance. My only word of caution is that they have a 1 day policy for reporting damaged product. Please make sure that you inspect anything that you buy from them within this time frame. Like in my situation, merchandise can be damaged without any exterior evidence.

"My Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer arrived less than a week after I ordered it! It was the lowest price I found and with free shipping, it couldn't be beat."
"Ordered 65" TV. After 2 weeks(!!!!) got it with a broken glass. 2 weeks to deliver from MI to NJ? Good company, but delivery service sucks."
"WORSE WORSE WORSE!!!! PLACE EVER!!!! I would not recommend at all!! They have horrible customer service, had a renovation loan pay them money to send me appliances, took them 3 months to send one damn appliance!! then held my money for over a month and I have yet to receive the last appliance!! I am actually considering filing a law suit!!!! And its Dec, 2010 already!! Look at my order date!! Ridiculous~!"
"I agree with Mr. Smithe's review. I ordered the Samsung UN46C8000 on the 23rd of December and they sent me my online confirmation AND sales receipt as well as charging my credit card for the total. I then waited a week and decided to call them as I never received a shipping notice. I was told that they were OUT OF STOCK on the TV and that they don't exactly know WHEN they will receive the TV in stock. What kind of business charges the credit card for the purchase when it hasn't even been shipped yet let alone the item being out of stock?! I will NEVER purchase from USAPPLIANCE again. Hopefully I will receive my TV within the next month.....but I am not holding my breathe."
"I purchased a Samsung BD-C6500 Blu-Ray Player that they had on sale on 11/19/10. I read that they were a reputable company and seemed to be backed by Yahoo, so I thought "can't be too bad right?". A week passes by and I never received another email from them, so I decide to call and check on the status of my order. It appears that they were back-ordered on the player and had no idea when they would be getting a shipment of new players. Most companies would know when they would be getting shipments from the manufacturer right? They should have notified their customers that the players were back-ordered or have prevented customers from making the purchase in the first place. Leaving their customers in the dark is just bad customer service.
I check my credit card online often and I noticed that I was charged for the player on 11/20/10. I am shocked that a company would charge you for an order that has yet to ship, let alone for an item that is back-ordered with an indeterminable wait time. It is their policy to charge when the invoice is processed and not when the order is shipped. I ended up calling them twice to get an update on when they would be receiving any players and both times they were unsure of when they were getting any players in.
I finally received my product today and it is great. I am happy with the product but unhappy with the company's business practices. They should not charge the consumer until the product is shipped and they should not keep their customers in the dark if the products are back-ordered with a lack of communication.
This will be my first and last purchase from US Appliance

"I recently purchased a Samsung 63" Plasma 3D TV, PN63C7000. Since I read about the delivery issues when the item is sometimes not in stock, I decided to call in my order. Spoke with George who confirmed that the TV along with the bluray player and 3D starter kit were all in stock and he mentioned that if I placed the order on the phone, it would save a day in processing. I agreed since it was the holiday coming up and didn't want a rush of TV orders to come in on Black Friday and for my TV to be held up or become out of stock. George said I would receive my invoice within 24 hours, and I did! And that he would try to ship it the next day, which it DID!
I received an email notification that my TV had shipped the next day on Wed, right before Thanksgiving. Shipping took about a week since the carrier does not work on the weekends and since Thurs was a holiday. They called me on Wed and said they could deliver it the next day. Though the delivery guy was late a few hours, the TV box was unblemished. He helped bring the TV inside the house instead of just curbside. I opened the TV and have it all set up. There was no damage and it was packed very well. The bluray player and glasses work well also.
I must admit I was cautious of ordering from US Appliance but knowing that they were an authorized Samsung dealer and reading the reviews which mainly highlighted some delivery/processing issues, I am more than happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase from US Appliance again. The speed with which my order was processed and delivered given the holiday times was incredible. Plus, the best part of US Appliance was the incredible price I got. Amazon charged $500 more for the same TV and lesser quality bluray player and a 3D Starter kit with only 1 movie, instead of 3! Price combined wtih quick shipping makes US Appliance definitey a great retailer in my opinion. "
"Ordered the Bosch dishwasher (model SHE55M15UC) and a LG refrigerator (model LMX28988ST) with In-Home White Glove delivery for the order on Oct/28/10.
I requested for price matches on both items. First price match request was approved and then declined, USAppliance.com claimed the merchants were not authorized dealers/sellers so it could not honor the request.
Few days later, I submitted another price match request because I had found out that the merchants were actually the authorized dealers for LG and Bosch, plus I preferred placing the order with USAppliance.com (based on past positive experiences and recommendations).
A sale agent named Jason approved the price match request and handled the order. The price-match gave over $$700 in savings. Noted that because of the price-match, the order had to be handled over the phone, and I could not use any additional dollars off saving coupons that are readily available from USApplicance.com' website.
I was told that the Bosh dishwasher was in-stock, the LG refrigerator was a special order item. Together, it would take 3-4 weeks to be delivered. I was ok with that and requested the Bosch dishwasher to be delivered first.
The dishwasher delivered on Nov/15/10 by ABF. However, it was indicated on the Bill of Lading as a curb-side delivery. I immediately phoned Jason and I was told the dishwasher is not a major appliance (!?) and therefor the In-home White Glove delivery would not be applied. I was angry because I paid for the In-Home White Glove delivery service in response to the USAppliance.com promotion "Only $90 per order no matter how many you order". In fact, dishwasher is a major appliance and an oversized item (over 160 pounds)!. I had to manage to bring it up (with steps) and into the house, unpacked and cleaned up all of the packaging materials. I felt cheated.
The LG refrigerator finally arrived on Dec/2/2010. It was delivered by HomeDirectUSA. This time, it was actually an In-Home delivery. It took three men to bring it into the house. Since it was an oversized item, they had to remove the house's main entry door and the refrigerator handles so they could safely bring it through the main entrance. Once inside the house, they reinstalled the refrigerator handles, the main entrance door, unpacked, and cleaned up. The delivery men from HomeDirectUSA are very professional and courtesy. Of course, I tipped them nicely.
Bottom line, good experience with the purchase. Patience is the key if your item is a special order at USAppliance.com.

"I just ordered a 3D TV from them and I am now starting to see what people are talking about. I still have not got an email notifying me that my order has been shipped and it is impossible to get in touch with anyone on the phone. I called several times in the past 2 days and have never been able to reach anyone on the phone.

I had to change the address on my checking account in order for them to process the order. They said the delay was due to the holiday weekend. Customer service was pretty friendly so I have adjusted my ratings a bit.

"I purchased an HDTV 3D package from US Appliance on Nov 18th 2010. After a few days the price of the package dropped another $100.00. So I called looking for a price adjustment. I was told that since my order had already shipped there was nothing they could do for me. The customer service rep. said I should have bought the buy safe insurance, and if I did, I could get the price match through them. Overall the TV came with no problems, but buyer beware they will not price match their own prices after the order has shipped."
"Do not order from this company, US Appliance, unless you want to: 1. Have your credit card charged as soon as you place your order, 2. Be charged for items that are "in stock", according to their website but is really "out of stock" and they don't even know when it will be "in stock" again, 3. Not be able to cancel your order without a penalty, and 4. Never know when your order will show up. We purchased a LG refrigerator on Oct. 23rd, lured by an attractive price. We patiently waited for a shipping notice for 2 weeks but had not received any status update e-mail, besides a P.O. receipt. We checked the shipment tracking status online and it was blank, a big unknown. We thought it was odd so we called them asking for the shipping status. The company rep told us that they do not have any of that product in stock and they do not know when they can expect the next shipment from LG because LG is one of those few companies that won't let distributors know. He said the fridge could arrive at their company this week or it may not arrive until December or next year, so he could not give us an estimated arrival. This is absolutely unacceptable. First of all we were mislead to believing this product is in stock, and second of all, we were never informed that this product may not even arrive within a certain time frame. US Appliance has an obligation to let consumers know upfront about the uncertainty of the delivery date for this product, whether it's on their web page before the P.O. goes through, or through a follow-up phone call to the customer, or e-mail notice. What also upsets me is that US Appliance will charge you no matter what, and this seems to be a common complaint about this company. We could not wait forever for a refrigerator that may or may not arrive (we wanted a fridge BEFORE Thanksgiving), so we decided to purchase it elsewhere. Unfortunately, US Appliance will charge you a 2% cancellation fee. We took the 2% hit but they really shouldn't be dinging customers with fees for cancelling a product they never had in stock in the first place and wasn't in any hurry to restock; what kind of company expect their customers to wait forever for their order to arrive, while charging the full amount as soon as the customer places an order?
P.S.: Received full refund on 11/9/10, after writing this review."
"Purchased Sony HX800 55in 3D TV bundle with 3D Blue ray player and pair of 3D glasses.
Was somewhat scared to buy as was aware about some bad review on US Appliaces. Very glad that did not listen to them and went ahead.
Got TV shipped in less than 5 days and it arrived in 10 days after I ordered it!
Superprice and Superproducts. Make sure though that the products you are buyin are in stock - may worth to call them. Do not be concerned with somewhat not very friendly customer service - it will pay back with the low price anyway.
Will by from US Appliance again!"
"I ordered a new apple peeler/corer/slicer with a suction base. Delivery was prompt and item was exactly as described. I'm very happy with both item and price."
"Great communication, fast shipping!"
"Good tracking info, friendly service, arrived by truck in about a week."
